  • Idol Talk: Upsetting Talk

If a contest looks lopsided, then there's only one way to drag out the "American Idol" suspense: talk of upsets!

Adam Lambert rocks his rival in terms of online affection and sheer buzz. Kris Allen is no slouch, but he's got less than a third of the frontrunner's searches.

If any upsets are going to happen, they will have to be seen on performance night. And if the final two's chill attitude is to be believed, all the theories about home states, the Christian vote, and Katy Perry's plug don't matter compared to raw onstage talent. Besides, the "American Idol" 2009 tour tickets already went on sale May 9.

But really, the winner's already decided: Despite a dip, "American Idol" still holds onto the ratings crown.

Looking forward to Adam's performances tonight. For me, he is the winner. I believe that he will take the title of American Idol, 2009 hands down!

It isn't about who's gay or whos' straight -
There are several gay icon singers out there past and present.

To me Kris sings really nice but Adams has the wow factor.

Poor, adam who couldn't hit those high notes when you do what homosexual men do to each other. You know that act of one man putting his p*%^$s in the other mans a$$. You go adam keep it up.
I thought all those kind of people were proud of who they are.
Adam aren't you proud, why hide it from America?

The entertainment industry is all about pushing gay guys down our throats. "See, they are just like you!" It is sad many people think there is nothing wrong with being gay. I find that to be very queer. With that being said, I am honest enough to say that Adam has talent much above the rest of the field. Too bad he is wasting his life on chasing men. What a hurting soul.

Adam makes me (and my wife) want to puke. I would never buy his record. It's like stabbing my ears with knives every time I hear that whiny, screeching voice. My votes were for Kris last night.. whose CD I will definitely buy.

You all need to stop being so ugly about gays, like I said before I am not a supporter of the life style but you don't have to be so ugly about it.
I think Adam is a great singer but Chris is better, Adam is a showman more than a singer.

It's a show about TALENT not sexual preference!

It's amazing to me the derogatory comments made about Adam Lambert. He has a great voice and has a huge career ahead of him. I don't really understand how the question of his sexual preferences comes into play. Why does it matter to anyone? Who cares?
And even if he he is gay, I don't see a thing wrong with it, it doesn't affect me one way or the other what he does with his private life, and that's just what it is. Private, and none of anyone's business.

As a singer i will tell you that both of them have good voices. The difficulty with Adam is that he has range but his range isn't true range as he must shout to hit his high notes or go into a sharp/off pitch falsetto. Kris may in truth have more talent. When you think of who would be better sounding on the radio Kris is the winner as Adam will not sell or even sound pleasing on the radio with yelling at the end of his songs. Last night they both bombed on Kara's ridiculous song. Kris one round one and Adam and Kris were tied for the second song. Kris should win.

Finally someone has come along that can sing. Adam's vocals can be compared to Steve Perry of Journey. Tired of these groups that need their music to drown out their voices or lack of one.

There were 27 of us last night calling in for kris. Each of us had at least 2 phones each. We voted from 9:30 PM until about 12:45 AM.

ADAM IS MY HERO! He put excitment back into the entertainment industry. He puts his whole heart and soul into each song and he's been doing that all season! He DESERVES to be the NEXT AMERICAN IDOL! What a total fizzle and let down it would be if he isn't. Janice

Adam is the reincarnation of Elvis Presley, with a sexual preference twist .... just keep watching him soar. His sexual preference has absolutely nothing to do with his God given talent and you homophobics out there need to be praying for yourselves for being so judgemental.

I have refused to watch the Idol this season because of Lambert and everything he stands for. He is so repulsively gay its disgusting. They can put whoever they want on the show, its their choice, but many like me will say to hell with it and stop watching it. The Idol has been a great show but as usual, something always happens to ruin it and it turns people off. He has the God given right to live as he chooses and I have the right to ignore or support him. This entire agenda of shoving gays down our throats is not only repugnant but nothing will change my opinion of that lifestyle.

Why are some of you even on this blog if you do not understand the charisma and "draw" that Adam has? Get the heck off of this blog and go to school. Adam will win, The next American Idol. Nothing left to say, so blog on something that you understand.
