Ballot Rush

Nine down, 19 more to go.
We speak of election days, naturally. Super Tuesday may be primaries on steroids, but with contests scheduled through April, today might not make the presidential contests any clearer: The Democratics are tussling over 1,020 delegates today (1,091 delegates are needed to secure the nomination), and Republicans over 1,681 (2,025 takes the title). Then there's that whole superdelegate scenario (you can find one explanation of that here).
Regardless, citizens of 22 states participate in the political process today. People have been prepping for some time, as January Buzz geo-maps on top delegate leaders Barack Obama, Hillary Rodham Clinton, John McCain, and Mitt Romney have noted.
In the past week, potential voters have buckled down, taking the practice "who should i vote for president quiz" (+869%), reviewing the "election ballot" (+541%) and issues therein, scouting out the locale "where to vote," and double-checking "am i registered to vote" (+859%) just to make sure they needed to show up at all.
Procrastinators have also been out in full force, seeking last-minute ways to "register to vote" (+31%) and "register to vote online." The laggards are spread among ages 18-44, and almost two-thirds of those queries come from females. Of the top 20 states searching for "register to vote," 13 are Super Tuesday States, led by California, Arizona, New Jersey, New York, and Alabama.
Not to worry... there's always the big test in November. In the meantime, sharpen your pencils, build up those lever biceps, and blow out those chads.
