According to their publicists, Nicole Richie and Christina Aguilera are "ecstatic" and "doing well" since giving birth on Saturday. Two new celebri-fants in one glorious day! The sounds of celebration have reverberated across the Web ever since. The blog posts have popped, the paparazzi cameras have whirred, and a hundred thousand searches have slapped up against the Buzz.
Naturally, the wee little stars are hotly popular online. Interest in "christina aguilera baby" is up 1,755%. Searches for "nicole richie baby," who was a trendy tot in Buzz even before emerging into the world, produced another 588% rise.
As for what they look like, well, everyone wants photos of the wrinkled little tykes. Thanks to the debut this week of VH-1's "Scott Baio Is 46... and Pregnant," Chachi's 2 month old beat out Christina's new babe for the second spot on our list of yesterday's most searched-on baby pictures. Some of the queries are for the offspring of celebrities; others are for snapshots of the celebrities themselves. Go ahead and fuss...
