One search sums it up—"lindsay lohan arrested again." It wasn't yesterday's most popular Lindsay Lohan search, but it encapsulates our feelings on the tiresome Lohan saga. Searches on the troubled starlet jumped 496% after she was arrested for DUI. After news of her latest transgression made it to the Web, queries on "lindsay lohan mug shot" surpassed searches on "lindsay lohan nude"—which is no small feat. Ahem.
Folks were also looking for the recent photos of Lindsay cavorting at the Polaroid Beach House prior to her arrest. Lookups on "lindsay lohan bikini," "lindsay lohan surfboard," and "lindsay lohan party pics" surged yesterday. More ominous for libation-lovin' Lohan were the searches on "lindsay lohan cocaine," "lindsay lohan dui," and "lindsay lohan jail."
Related queries on camera-hungry parents Michael and Dina Lohan also spiked, with Dina grabbing 60% more of the Search limelight. Intrepid searchers also looked for information on the infamous "scram bracelet" Lindsay was wearing around her alcohol-addled ankle. The effectiveness of the "lindsay lohan ankle bracelet" is obvious—what's unclear is the future of this fallen star.
