Steve Jobs dazzled everyone earlier this year with his MacWorld Conference keynote. The latest Apple design darling made your palms sweat with its finger-lickin' good interface. But that was back in January. Since then, we've all been on hold waiting for the iPhone.
Now Apple has announced an official iPhone release date for the touch-sensitive, MP3-playing, palm-sized buzz machine. We've seen the TV commercials. The iPhone's tantalizing capabilities are crystal clear. But, you're still waiting. Waiting to know the cost of an iPhone, that is. iPhone searches are off the hook, and one of the top related queries is "iphone price" (+108%).
So, just how much will it cost, Mr. Jobs? Perhaps people doubt the advance $499 (4GB) and $599 (8GB) price tags, or they may be hoping for signs of last-minute price slashing. Either way, buzz on the iPhone price is just more fodder for Apple fanatics and iPhone haters alike.
