The Buzz Log What’s hot on Yahoo! Buzz™ (and why)...

"High School Musical" is like the "Titanic" of television. And we don't mean the boat that went down without Leonardo DiCaprio. The Disney Channel made-for-TV movie set broadcast records at the cable station. Its soundtrack went triple platinum. Its concert tour attracted sold-out arenas of squealing "tweens." And its young actors pulled down a mammoth amount of buzz.

Now, the mouse-ears network is trying to repeat the performance with "Jump In!," another TV flick with the same feel-good vibe as "High School" and one of its same cute stars: Corbin Bleu. Since the film's debut, buzz on the double-Dutch tale has leapt more than 900% and interest in its young actor/dancer/mop of hair has soared. Searchers under the age of 17 have barraged Buzz for everything from Corbin's pictures and MySpace page to his tie-in music video and its lyrics.

Even if "Jump In!" stumbles (and don't worry, merchandisers—that seems unlikely), the future still looks bright and shiny for its teen performer. Filming for "High School Musical 2" begins in March. Corbin must be feeling like he's king of the world.
