Tired of turkey? Dreading the relatives? Don't like football? Maybe the solution on Thanksgiving is to ignore the traditional stuff and tune in to the National Dog Show. The two-hour event following the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is the most widely viewed dog show in the U.S.
Over 150 different breeds and varieties compete for the title of Best in Show, but what breeds are Best in Search? This week, the first three places went to the small dogs: Chihuahua, pug, and English bulldog. But large dog lovers shouldn't fret—the German shepherd came in a strong fourth place.
