Is the Force with Fido this Halloween? Yes, this year's favorite dog costume is Yoda, the Jedi gnome of "Star Wars" fame. As Halloween hysteria rises to a fever pitch, pets will be dressing up for the occasion—they rank fourth in queries for costume ideas, behind babies, adults, and kids.
Dogs are obliging pets, whether they be a teacup chihuahua, a barrel-chested bulldog or a shaggy Siberian Husky. We've seen a 25% boost on dog outfit searches compared to this same time last year, and folks are three times more likely to look for canine costumes versus feline wear. Then again, perhaps the dignity of cats doesn't permit this sort of foolishness. Look down and see what other four-legged guises might be bounding your way.
