Vanity Fair Auctions Off Madonna's Globe
Apr 8, 2008 - Vanity Fair is auctioning off the globe Madonna poses with on the cover of this month's issue. The globe's official Ebay page says it's constructed of plaster and marble dust with a recyclable polystyrene core. The globe is four-feet in diameter and weighs about 8 pounds. It took 10 days to complete, and when the photoshoot was over, Madonna signed the back and drew a heart over Africa.
