These people who perdict this weather and all these hurricanes haven't been right for 7 years now. They get paid good money to set behind a desk until hurricane season when they have a 50% chance their be right and of late they guessed the wrong way. And the media still prints it like its gospel. Perhaps they might be right this year they got a 50% chance they are but the last 7 they been LOSERS!

Hey Old Geezer...I will believe in global warming when we can accurately predicit the weather 10-15 days in advance...let alone 50 years in advance. Man made global warming is a hoax to syphon more money out of everyone's pockets!

For all you global warming boobs out there, the TERM USED most has been GLOBAL WARMING, the new TERM: CLIMATE CHANGE.
Funny how the term keeps evolving but the weather stays the same as it has for EONS.All you have to do is check all the tide DATA. I know thats a hard for you to wrap your head around. If you didnt learn your lesson after the whole Y2K fiasco when all these EXPERTS told us that everything was gonna crash. Nothing happened. Global warning is based on the same junk science that predicted global collapse on 1/1/2000. What you really have to be weary of is the government media compex. Be weary of Goldman Sachs, the treasury secretary, and the federal reserve. The media is on their payroll, and they only have one thing in mind, and that is seperating you from your money, and the greater objective, global enslavement through the use of cooked up global warming schemes and class war fare.

El Nino? Sounds like another excuse for Gwo-bal Warming wegis-sway-tion. Somebody please tell Barney Fwank and Nancy Pewosi.

We can't wait! Let's climb up Mt. Wuss-More and send the world our message and then I'll call my willing accomplice in the driveby media.

Comrades you have no need to fear, Czar porkulus is here! He will save us all from weathers ebs and tides and stop the hurricanes to keep you alive, he will control the summers, winters and the likes, he'll allow rain if you acts just right. So quiver and cower at the king of the world and he'll be sure el nino turns into el nina to make you all feel good. But guess what, you'll be hungry cause you won't have a job.

A year ago i went round and round about this global warming in a letter to congress men it went no where. Most think alot like all of you: 'no such thing' Calm trails, valcanoes, palution, salferic palution from coal, has lowered global temperatures and a noticabal increase in cloud cover. However it is proficide that a major war will blow wholes in our atmosphere causing masive black outs of comunication from terrist north and south Veatnom... so what is the point, no one knows when.

anyone else notice how this story was on the main page for about 15 minutes and then it Vanished?
I know it flies in the face of all the DATA they have been shoving down our throats about global warming.

Get ready for wild weather? What the hell else is new?

Whatever the weather will be is beyond our control. It is in the hands of the Creator. Govt has nothing to do with it. Get real. Prepare in a way that your county does via mailings to your door and pray u do not get struck by lightning or any other disaster. How would u like to die with the last word being a curse word? Be safe everyone. Help your neighbour and your family.

We've had MILD winters here for the past few years so what's the difference now?.. Also - I've noticed that this year and last, strong summer thunder storms seem to be lacking, or just totally missing my area of the US when just a few years back it seemed like summer was one tornado warning after another!
Fact is- NO "human" is ever going to get this weather stuff 100% right.
We made it through just this past winter without any huge amounts of snow falls when we had one snow day after another and 8 or more inches of snow every few weeks in the past. There was no talk of El Nino then...so what WAS the excuse? Oh yeh.. that's right it's the WEATHER... naturally unpredictable!

O.K EVERYONE HERE IS THE TRUE SCOOP OF THE MATTER AND I APOLOGIZE IN ADVANCE TO THOSE OF YOU WHO CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH - SO HERE IT GOES:
WE IN FLORIDA ARE SCREWED TO THE 10TH POWER AND HERE IS WHY. DO YOU RECALL KATRINA?? YES YOU DO, AND DO YOU RECALL WHAT HAPPENNED TO FEMA? WELL LET ME REMIND YOU...THEY WENT BROKE!!!!!!!!!!!! SO, WHAT DO YOU THINK WILL HAPPEN IF (1) AN "ANDREW" HITS SOUTH FLORIDA (2) FEMA CAN NOT SUPPLY FOOD/ WATER AND TRAILERS OR TENTS (3) ALL THIS HAPPENS AS THE ECONOMY IS 3 MILLIMETERS AWAY FROM A WORSE DEPRESSION THAN 1940. FEMA NEVER RECOVERED.THE HEAT IN FL IS HOTTER THAN IS BEEN SINCE 1990 AND THE HEAT MEANS BAD NEWS FOR US.PLEASE, BEFORE YOU KNOCK ME DOWN, THINK TO YOUR SELF IF YOU KNOW HOW IT FEELS TO BE IN THE MIDDLE OF A HURRICANE (ANDREW) AND HOW HORRIBLE THE SOUND OF THE WIND CAN BE AT 195MPH, THEN YOU CAN POST A REPLY.

I'm not surprised that El Nino is coming. It usually happens every 5 years or so. Cali needs rain and I love rain.

El Nino comes around about every 10 years. This is expected to be a mild one with few adverse side effects. As a former San DIegan and Phoenix resident - we were all well acquainted with this weather phenomenon in the Southwest.

No large deal. Don't stress out about it,

Have a nice evening everyone.

weather goes in cycles since the begining of all.Big deal el nino is back the world is going to pot because of 100 reasons . George Carlin said it best when he said "we r all 2 vain stop global warming, save the whales, fight famine . the world went through much worse problems than us and it's still standing tall it repairs and overcomes but us,the humans thats what we need to fix! (global warming will lead to global cooling,heating,cooling..., famine is gods way of selectivly zoning out peeps that he needs up there to help in the kitchen, and the whales don't need saving the oceans do w the methane gas leaking from the earth's crust heating the water. Happy thoughts , Serp
