Artest: Blame me if Lakers don't repeat (AP)

Pardon Ron Artest if he's a bit geographically challenged and had no idea that San Diego has a big league baseball team, even though he was wearing a Padres cap. This much he's sure of -- If his Los Angeles Lakers don't repeat as NBA champions, fans can point their fingers at him. "They should. » Full Story on Yahoo! Sports

Cleveland would have loved to have him. He'll be a great addition in LA, though. He's gonna help LA more than Shaq will help the Cavs.

Its a great deal for Lakers, but its a very very cheap deal too. $18 million for 3 years for a top player is very low. Yao's unfortunate injury based exit is killing the Rockets. Hope the Rockets get a few very good guys and offset this loss. Artest's exit would kill the rockets.

Sad to see Ariza go. Should have just let Odom and Sasha V. go than Ariza.

Now all they need is Latrell Sprewell, Bill Lambeer and possibly Mike Tyson.

I'm going to miss Artest, but Ariza is like a younger version of him. Ariza can play noticable defense and can score just liek Artest. Glad the Rockets got some younger players.

Shaq may as well retire now because LA is going to definitely get another title now.

With Artest, we won't see Kobe wearing himself down on D like he did during the Denver series...

Kobe and Ron almost got into a scuffle after the elbow incident, how will they get along being on the same team? Don't think Ron forgot that!

They need a legitimate 8 man line up to contend with the big east. If Ariza does go, then he will be a big star on the first loosers team.As far as the Scuffle, Ron forgot about it when he signed on the bottom line, because everone knows, no Bling adds up to a Ring

RocketScientistsFans, when LAKERS WIN BACK2BACK next year PLEASE PLEASE don't say it was because of Artest.
We can win regardless, that's all that will prove! ...and one more thing Houstonians, players come&go but your team stays. Unless you're watching Tennis BE A TEAM FAN!

What a f'n loser, we could have kept one the brightest young stars! Instead we get a retarded, wannabe Rodman/Lambeer. I am ashamed of the organization if this happens. Honestly we don't even have Phil back yet! WTF! :(

Wow.....now the LA Lakers have a criminal playing teaming up with a bully. How can you LA fans really like your LA Lakers? If OJ were younger and out of jail put him with your LA Team. This is an example why I don't watch any NBA anymore. LA Lakers SUCK.

I will always "boo" or disapprove of losers like Kobe or Artest even though they have rings or trophies. These bullies or criminals only have the big bucks to keep them out of the jails. Attention you LA Fans...how can you really support your team? I live in Portland, Oregon and for awhile they were known as the Jailblazers. Now , we have a winning team but more important a team of intergrity and a city team that likes to help out in the community. LA Lakers SUCK with KOBE. You fans have sold out to crime.
