Donovan: Beckham has become a bad teammate

I don't believe anything that Alexi Lalas says because he made a mockery of the US victory over Spain and then could hardly contain his doubt the US team could beat Brazil. I think Alexi Lalas should be remove from ESPN coverage, he has no creditablity. ESPN can get somebody esle who knows the game AND who supports the US Team. People like Alexi Lalas seem to enjoy slamming US at every opportunity. Very sad. Fire Alexi Lalas.

I do not care about any pro sport, wouldn't care if they all disappeared today. The players on these teams don't care about the game anymore, they have no more passion for playing than any other mill $ executive in any business. Why make any effort or even pretend to care about a team when it's all about money? Priorities are screwed up when adults make $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ playing what are essentially childrens games.

Beckham, since the day he got to Los Angeles, has been a supreme embarrassment. His salary is sickening. His GQ clothes and ridiculous wife who wears high spiked heels to pretend to play baseball with a Little League team upon her arrival to LA is equally sickening.

Even Jay Leno, who is a neighbor, didn't know what to make of the fuss. We don't have "Becks & Posh's" in the United States.
