Sources: Turkoglu changes mind on Blazers (Yahoo! Sports)

Free agent Hedo Turkoglu has backed out of his commitment to Portland and plans to sign with Toronto. » Full Story on Yahoo! Sports

from a basketball fan's perspective, the Turk is a joke. he's always been a goofball-type-dude. now he up and leaves Orlando for Toronto? while not being able to really make up his mind, or so it seems? why would you give this guy that kind of money? why is he a hot free agent? makes no sense. the guy is a high quality role player that'll be too slow in about 2 or 3 years. the NBA can't see through its own hype.

Of course It's All about the Money, But Turkoglu Will Be Sorry For Not Joining The Most Underrated Team In The NBA......The Portland Trailblazers.

Kind of glad,Hedo is overrated and he misses free throws when the pressure is on...we need a point guard,go after steve nash. We have a great team already, let give Rudy his shot,we have outlaw and batum. OR GET LIL NATE ROBINSON,it would be great to see him and roy again, they both got heart... have fun in Toronto...dumb ass

Whatever Turk!!! If you can't commit, then we don't need you. The Blazers are going to make some HUGE shock waves in the next few years. If you don't want to a part of that success - you don't deserve it! Enjoy Tortono! Later!

I don't care how much money was offered..I think the Blazers would've been a better choice

Hedo Turkoglu deal actually favors Toronto from a USD/CAD standpoint because Hedo loses 1.7 million in foreign currency translation as of today's quote....so there has to be more to this deal just on the bases alone he signed for less money. Here is how it works Portland offered 50 million USD and Toronto 56 million CAD, so if you convert the CAD into USD then it comes to about 47.2 million which equals about 1.7 million dollar opportunity cost. So, this deal was not about the money.

A move he'll likely regret... The money is all good but, Toronto has NO real chance to even make the playoffs and their biggest star, Chris Bosh is outta there after the next season so, why leave a "contender for pretender?"...

One of the best white shooters since Barry and Bryd, but it sounds like he can't make up his mind to well. Wherever he lands he'll be a fan favorite. The Magic had their shot.

Thank you Toronto, we (Portland) do not need an over 30 legend in his own mind. The blazers are fine just need to get Oden back on track.

Dumb a$$! He could have been in a competitive team, as with either the Blazer or Orlando, but dumb a$$ left for $$$ to a team that sucks. Yeah, his stats will improve but his stock will crash. No one will take his stats serious from now on because with Toronto he will be free to do anything he wants offensively without regards to his lousy defense.
