Firecracker 400: The racer's race

I agree with Ricky, that the "Fire Cracker" is a drivers race, and always has been..
And about the name as well.. What's wrong with "The Fire Cracker 400, brought to you by Pepsi"..
I think that's a much better name..

Restrictor plate racing. My opinion was stated by AJ Foyt after he raced them . . . He said it was like being in a Taxi Cab race. I love NASCAR, so I will watch, but I don't care for restrictor plates.

Fire Cracker is the only name for this race. It can be sponsored by anyone, but , the name should remain the same so that the fans know about this race when they hear the name. Like the Daytona 500, everybody knows what that is all about. Buy the way, TNT did a great job by using the wide open coverage instead of breaking away for all of the commercials. Instead of going to the fridg to get a beer, I stayed to watch, so I got the race and the commercial and could see them both. Great move TNT.
