Fedor, Rogers in slugfest

Rogers needs to accept the defeat and stop acting like he gave Fedor the fight...ridiculus....who does he think he was fighting....I mean he was knocked out!!!!!!! He did have his chance to beat Fedor but couldnt follow through.....fedor escaped and fairly beat Rogers.

Is fight with Brock in the future?

Was fedors nose broken? The shot that hit him was a jab from rogers. I thought rogers might have him because i didnt think fedor could handle the power or get away from those shots when he was on bottom. Fedor is a ninja but i do think rogers at any time possibly has the power to knock anybody out. If that shot was a right hand would fedor have still been "with us " ? haha great fight Fedor you are an amazing fighter I would love to see you dominate the UFC heavyweights and further more prove your doubters wrong that you are the best ever.

WOW.. that was my first time actually seeing Fedor fight and i gotta give him credit for his knock out power. i thought he was getting handle when he was on his back but got up, next round and finished it. BRAVO yea he should fight Brock, just make it a fight that sponsors both UFC and Strikeforce. only thing on the line is their records

when Rogers beat up Arlovski the picture in the story showed him defeating a white guy. Now that a white guy showed superior performance the picture shows them as equals standing next to each other.

how about including a picture of Rogers eating Fedor's fist?

Werdum looked sloppy and doesn't seem like a good opponent for Fedor (will get crushed). Mousasi is a really good fighter and can give other UFC LH fighters a run for their money. Hopefully Dana White stops sucking d$%^ and brings M-1 Global into the mix to get a Brock/Fedor fight going. The possibilities are endless; beat Brock fight Carwin, Dos Santos, Randy etc...

Lesnar is more agile and has a better ground game then Rogers.

After watching this fight I truly believe a strong ATHLETIC guy like Lesnar is the key to ending Fedor's reign.

I had it on my dvr, and i am so pisse doff bc the 2 hr limit cut off during the intro to the fight, does anybody know where i can watch it now?? ive tried youtube and cant seem to get anything yet..

Lesnar does have an excellent ground game and is very agile but the issue is his stand-up. He telegraphs his punches and is vulnerable to strikes. I don't think he will get Carwin or Noguiera. He got lucky against Randy. Fedor vs Lesnar fight just won't happen because Lesnar will lose his next fight.

OMFG! I would fire that ref. Watch the replay. Yes, Gheydor knocked Rogers down and rattled him, but when he tried to follow up he missed with the left hand to the BACK of Rogers' head, then threw one at Rogers' face which Rogers blocked with his glove. Rogers then covered with one hand over his ear and his forearm over his face. It was then the ref stopped it, with Rogers still guarding himself and undamaged since the knockdown. Can you say "GIFT?" If Rogers had a few seconds to get his head together, he may have had a chance to stay in the fight. At least in UFC, the downed fighter has to show he's unable to defend himself. What a ripoff!

If Gheydor ever fights Lesnar, he'll get ridden like a swayback mule. I guarantee if he comes in that flabby for a match against Lesnar, Brock will make him regret every ounce. He would have ONE chance against Lesnar. That would be to hit Brock as hard as he can within the first couple seconds and hope it didn't just p*ss him off.

Everyone should stop with the Fedor vs. Lesnar BS; you all know whoever goes against Fedor will eventually hit the mat. Lesnar's size is the only thing that could possibly give him a chance. The guy who wrote this story is an idiot. This card was not lackluster and way better than any of the crap that the UFC has been putting out lately. I think that Strikeforce sent a big message. The UFC better step up their game, because Couture/Vera and Ortiz/Griffin II isn't cutting it.

Sean, I have no doubt Lesnar would be willing to fight Gheydor any time. Gheydor's agent wants to be the promoter of the fight, and do it with their name on it, even though it would be in the UFC. UFC head Dana White told him to blow goats, that he'd never give in to such unreasonable demands for a fight. The only reason the agent is making such demands is to make it impossible for the fight to happen, so he can blame it on Dana White. What a spooger!

i give rogers credit for showing he at least deserved to be in the ring with fedor. clearly fedor is the best. his knockout power is unmatched. rogers post fight interview really was classless. what a poor loser. he should have said" he caught me with a great shot and that is why he is the best. i thought i did some good things and i will use this loss as a stepping stone to improve." he would have won some fans and respect if he said that. if you can't give the guy who kicked your ass credit you are a big time loser in more ways than one. fedor really appears to be a class act . rogers not at all.

I give Fedor credit for that great ko but Brock Lesnar would maul him. Bret Rogers is a B- big man. Brock is stronger and a lot better than Bret overall. It is why he chose Strikeforce and UFC. He knows he can beat the Heavies there. He would have problems with the big heavies in the UFC. Fedor has picked his fights almost Mayweatheresque (just made that word up. lol). He wont fight unless he knows he is going to win. That is what Mayweather does in boxing and it works for them both. But that being said. Fedor to me is not the best heavyweight nor the best fighter in the world. To me the best fighter in the world is Anderson Silva.

Why did the anouncer ask if he would give him a rematch 1 minute after he ktfo of him? Give me a break. The NON broken nose was a cut EXACTLY were he had scar tissue it opened. Look at the pre fight closeups, exact scar/cut. Other then Lesner or Jr..Santos no one could give Fedor a good run. Bret was a sore looser. Ref Big John should have let Fedor pound his head another 7 or 8 shots.........Watch the fight again with sound off, it's not as close as you first thought......
