it seems im the only one who saw lesnar grabbing the throat of mir all fight long. it is illegal, as well as all the strikes to the back of mirs head before the ref stopped the fight. even joe rogan and mike goldberg, who see just about every little eye poke, didnt say a word about lesnars violation of the ufc's foul #11, which states no striking to the throat or grabbing the trachea, aka windpipe. which is even shown in the picture above. i am very upset with the ufc, bending over backwards for their kimbo-ish cash cow in lesnar.

Lesnar is an ass clown. He is a Kimbo side show. A true athlete yes, but his lack of sportsmanship over shadows his ability. I will not purchase any ufc pay-per-view events with Lesnar on the card unless it is vs. FEDOR. I am so dissapointed with Lesnar. If this was baseball he would be fined by the MLB. He is not an ambasator of the sport. I hope Dana has more words for Brock and the fans.

If Diana White is serious about having a Fedor and Lesnar fight, then he is a very smart guy.Yes,this matchup would bring a LOT of Money into the mix!!!!

Hey you got a fighter in the octagon now that is probably going to dominate the heavyweight division. Everybody can boo and talk smack but most of those sitting there on their couch have probably never got an adrenaline rush like fighting in a professional event. Your match gets alot of hype and all of the trash talk. The man went and did his JOB and got a paycheck.

Lesner was mad that Mir submitted him. Thats part of mixed martial arts! Its not all about just punching. Hey don't they "submit" in the WWE? And I DID see the throat grabbing. If you are that big and "great of an athlete" then why would you have to cheat against a guy who is 20lbs. lighter than you? And I feel like Lesner wasn't that great of a fighter anyway, seemed to me that he just layed on top of Mir and used his weight to pin Mir down and pulverize him. Not very sportsmanlike at all....none of it...

All of you people out there who say Lesnar was going for Mir's throat have to realize that the ref is just human and will make mistakes. I didn't see the fight, but now I want to see the replay of it. Lesnar may have started acting like an ass, but I think these MMA fighters act like most of the ones that have entered the octagon before them. Dana White did right by giving this big guy a shot, and the bankroll in his pocket just proves it. Any way it goes, you the did a good in defending the title Brock Lesnar. THAT'S WHAT YOU GET PAID FOR!!!!!! GOOD LUCK ON YOUR NEXT TITLE DEFENSE!!!

Brock Lesner trained hard and dominated- nuff said. His sportsmanship and conduct after the fight was unprofessional and far from honorable. However- put yourself in his shoes; getting booed as the champion isn't exactly endearing. If he is an "ass clown," what does that say about those in the crowd? Give credit where credit is due.

Just goes to show that these guys are nothing but brutes whose only option in life is to use their physical prowess, not their brains, which have basically been turned to mush anyway. They should enjoy it while they can, because prizefighters have significantly shorter lifespans than those of us with brains that have not been sloshing around in their skulls. Take a look at research done on former NFL players' brains and its effect on their lives after football - it's startling. Just imagine the effects of brawling in a cage for any significant amount of time.

Brock is allowed to say whatver the he** he wants. This is the UFC people. Do you think the toughest most beefed up guys in the world are going to get in the ring, risk their lives and limbs, and then thank God, Dana White, and Jesus for the ability to punish people? This was a Pay Per View, it was not live TV. I watched it, and I was not upset with Brock. If he wants to flip people off, say he hates bud light, and say that Frank Mir is a pu***, then he has that right.
Brock did NOTHING wrong.
The UFC should be ticked off with henderson for jumping on top of a guy and delivering a devasting blow to the face after the guy was OBVIOUSLY already knocked out, he could have killed him.

brock may be a good fighter but there is no room for his actions its bad enough we have lost every other sport exept golf to annoying cocky thuggish clowns if he wants to be that way he should go back to pro fake wrestling. he should recieve a hefty fine and as a henderson fan i hate to say he should have a consequince for his late hit as well

I congratulate Mr. Lesnar for his win. However I dont see the need for the Heal and Face charachters in the UFC. This is Mixed Martial Arts and I think Mr. Lesnar need to learn a little respect. Even though he was shunned by the others in the UFC, he needed to earn his wings. And when he did he was disrespectfull.
If UFC starts towards the Heal, Face, part of Pro Wrestling I will watch ShoXC instead and no longer watch thier payperviews. Mostly because we wont know whos laying down and wether or not the fix is in.

Everyone knows controversy creates cash. Otherwise it would be boring UFC and nobody would want to watch it. To say it has never happened in the UFC is a load. Tito and the Lion's Den openly went at it all the time, and Pat Smith and Dan Severn (among many other soap style dramas) were known to brutally hate each other in and out of the octagon. Dana loves this. His eyes are lighting up dollar signs.

I won't watch the UFC with this studio wrestler involved. It looses all credibility to me.

Lesnar is a frigging joke. He needs to go back to the WWE.
He has no skill and no talent. His ability is all reliant on tackling
his opponent and laying on top, then punching their lights out.
WooHoo. That takes skill against a light oppponent.
If this is Dana Whites plans for the future in the Heavyweight
division then I won't be there to watch.
He needs to create a Super Heavyweight Division for overgrown
lummox's such as Lesnar, Lashley, Kimbo Slice and others.
Good Luck Dana White, but I for one don't enjoy the new WWE
show.

Just wait localboy...that'll be next...we'll call it "Wrestling in the Dark" and then send in all manner of things for roided out maniacs to fight. Oh, the ratings will be through the roof...there must be some company willing to sponsor this...some kind of company that sells products for coach potatoes to numb their imbecilic brains....

My concern is that someone would pay good, hard-earned money to watch this crap! Worse, they would let their kids watch it!! What zoo do they keep these "animals" in when they're not fighting? "Here boy, here boy, come get the bone!"

I didn't watch the fight but read this article carefully. It seems that Mr. Lesnar has apologized for and explained his unfortunate behavior. I live in the same town that he does. He is a fine young man, a loving father who gives back to the community; and he volunteers for kids whenever he is asked; he is visible and contributes in so many ways. He is a professional athlete...but also has a background of being an "entertainer". We all learn from our mistakes. I wish him only well.

Who are these Yahoo UFC writers??? They laud Manny Ramirez's steroid use and then attack Brock Lesner after he destroys a guy who was making fun of his family?

That stupid Russian deserved it. Little trash talking baby!!

The writer writes, "Got anything for the kids"? If he allowed his kids to watch this in the first place the problem is his parenting. You do NOT let children watch grown men try to kill each other. The writer makes a VERY stupid point here simply because he doesn't like Brock. This article is so one sided it is a joke....what a bunch of crap writing. I could have written a better story from my living room.
