OK, let's get down to business. Screw the secured bondholders and ignore the contractual agreements, check. Make sure the union gets a big enough chunk to cover the contractual agreements, check. Run the stock to worthlessness and screw investors, check. Take 90% for the government and the union, double check.
Now, just keep confiscating and wasting taxpayer money so you can keep running at a deficit, just like the government. You are now freed from bankruptcy. SEE YA!!

All of this could have been avoided if the government would stay out of private business and try to run its own. Big business needs to stop outsourcing American jobs. Once this is done and legal American workers have dependable work the economy will fix itself. Close the borders to illegal aliens and let legal American taxpayers take care of themselves. No need for Wall St. bailouts, stimulus packages or auot industry loans. When Americans work, America works.

I will keep my 03 V6 GrandAM it may become a collectors item. Currently it gets 32 mpg at 70 mph with the A/C on full blast.
When bought it I gave my daughter the 4 banger KIA that delivered 28 mpg at 70 mph, 20mpg with the A/C on. I think GM will be around for a few more years. So to all you folks swearing that "I WILL NEVER HAVE ANOTHER GM CAR" I say you're full of crap. I say yes you will. So get over your outrage and help this AMERICAN company get back on their feet.

They should have let GM go under. Their defeat was caused primarily by poor management (who ended up with Golden Parachutes). They killed mass transit in the major cities and then killed the Electric Vehicle (EV1). Why my tax dollars went to trying to save them, I'll never know. People say that thousands of American workers would be put out of work but Toyota, Honda, Ford, and Chrysler would have taken up the slack. GM deserved to die - completely.

Screw GM, Chrysler and the UAW. I will never buy a product from them. Investors got ripped off (in voilation of contract and backruptcy laws) and the taxpayers will never be repaid the TARP money. The only winners here are the UAW and the Democrats. Everyone else loses big time.
