OK..so I'd like to know HOW and WHEN I can convert MY stock options for my NEW company. I mean...I own it right? Me and a bizzillion other Americans, and the Union, and the Canadians, and the Health care system, and????? Do you think GM will be on the pink sheets? I could buy a good 100000 shares for .0008 each. Then, when hell freezes over, I could cash them in for my new retirement program! Damn! And I REALLY wanted one of those cute, new 2-seater Caddies... Maybe I'll buy a Mustang instead! I'm really wanting an American made car. I am tired of my BMW and my hubby's Toyota Celica. Of course, I still have my 95 Jimmy with the 3 million recalls!
Geeez....

This is so silly. I thought we threw billions of dollars at them so they wouldn't even go into bankruptcy...another failed plan by the obama administration.

Never knew that anyone won when Big Government was allowed to seize control of private companies and force the sale of one to a foreign country and then help the other rob lenders in order to pay unions while maintaining control of what once was a private owned business that did not have an unfair advantage by being funded by taxpayers. In the end Ford will destroy GOVT Auto and we will remember actions like these in 2010, and again in 2012.

Hey! Didn't we go through some sort of judicial mess in Florida a few years back? I mean are we becoming some distorted morphed pseudo-democratic, socialistic, experiment? People...this could not and would not be possible were it not for the Patriot Act. This is scarey stuff and I'm mad as hell! It's time for letter writing and emailing to everyone and no one...

Trying to get out from under unpopular cars that they designed. Hmm. Another big victory for Obama's auto task force. Hmm.
This is all bullsh#t. GM was not ever going to liquidate their company. They just scared the government into all this to break the union and cut salaries. They will buy back their company from the government for a quarter of the cost, with a weaker union and lower wages. While we are all stuck with losing what 100 or so billion dollars. And more expensive cars too boot. Which will be just as unpopular as they have no idea how to make a good automobile anymore. They will keep selling crap like the cavalier and wonder whats wrong. Yeah that's a wonderful victory for the auto task force alright, bunch of freaking idiots.

And yet still most of the American "Sheepeople" still sleep. It is sad that union leaders care more about themselves than the rank and file that they are supposed to represent. Guess it's time for the union's and the politician's that pander to them to go. Interesting that non-union companies even though they are hurting as much or worse seem to be better off. Wonder why???

Once again we are seeing a lot of profitable independently owned dealerships shutdown and those employees tossed in the street. What does GM, Chrysler and the government car czar not understand about market share? Who wants to buy a car from a dealer 50 miles away and then have to take it back 50 miles for warranty service? No one has shown me anything that says these targeted dealerships are costing the parent company any revenue.

Crooks! This is what you get when you put a community organizer and his bunch into the white house. I'll bet he still hasn't paid Chicago back for that big party he had up there. He should have filed for bankruptcy on that debt. Why isn't he held responsible for his debts and these companies are?
