I HOPE CLUES IN THE VAN LEADS THEM TO THE MURDERERS

My little sister lives nearby, close enough to be petrified but mad as hell. She said these 'people' even took the family dog, this has her so angry. WHY would they take a family pet? Are they that callous, unfeeling, how did these people develop? Where do they come from, family, home, etc.?
If they catch them and they had some persons of interest they were questioning, I hope the case will be somehow solved. What will happen to the disabled children, they're all so pretty and so very young. Hopefully they were sleeping so hard they didn't hear anything, but I wouldn't bet on it.

My heart goes out to the family and may Byrd and Melanie Billings rest in peace. They were extraordinary people, taking in kids that (it seems) no others wanted. God has a special place for them. It is sad to know that they had a security system that seems to do no good for them at this time. Maybe it was used more to monitor the kids. We have security cameras also however it will sound off then someone is in the camera view. Again Rest in peace, you were true lovers of mankind.

The story as far as it goes sounds like revenge to me. The couple was clearly targeted. No one else in the house was hurt. The only thing taken was the dog? I hope the WHY will lead to the WHO.

This is so sad. Lost the parents and now what will happen to the handycap children? They will sure miss their parents. What is going on in America, or our world. People are going crazy. My mind does not work this way. Am sure not many people do think the way these crooks think.

I think that these people were Well- Known by their Killers. I think that it will not take long for the Killers to be picked up and the Dog too. In the meantime, God Help the family and the Children during this time of great need and sadness.

This couple knew moderate success , and lived responsible lives , even to the extent of adopting and caring for children with disabilities . To me it seems like some people who dont work and live off the government are extremely jealous of people who work hard and live life the right way . and these are the same people obama wants to cuddle and take care of . It will turn out to be a killing over some financial deal where the killers felt they got screwed over . We just had a productive family man and an all around good guy murdered in a killing for hire deal here in Tulsa. Some scum gang member has confessed to the killing but the person who hired him hasn't been charged yet. Police are still working the case. These killers in Florida sound like the same type and hopefully they will be informed on by some of their scum associates. Be patient, these pieces of s*** are ignorant and will be found in the not to distant future. As I said, it will be over some small financial deal not worth a few hundred dollars.

I hope Florida still has the death penalty, although it would be to good for these scum. Why did I have to hear about their murder, this would have made a great human interest story. It would have given me hope that there are good people around who care and will be judged by the content of their charactor for what they do for the least of our people.

Now we know who killed us. May as well shove the surveillance system up their ass. A loaded 12 gauge shotgun is the best home defense I know.

Notice how the dangerous media is telling us ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about HOW the crime was committed other than "swiftly." No information on forced entry. Incredible. Either they forced their way in or they didn't and KNOWING this would be helpful in understanding this crime and the killers. If they forced their way in, then it speaks to determination. If a door was unlocked then is speaks to more of a crime of opportunity. Absolutely no information on the killers' appearances either-EVEN though they've got tapes showing a lot. This is the most egregious lapse of the media. INVESTIGATORS KNOW the basic descriptions of the killers, but aren't telling us.

If you think about the information that's NOT in this story, you'll sit asking WHY is the media or the police withholding so much that could help us catch these scumbags.

So hey what did the killers look like? Description please?

The media is only telling us "late teens on up" to describe the killers. Well THAT sure as hell narrows it down doesn't it. I've seen the politically correct media do this before in murder cases. I guarantee they know the race of at least one of the killers. We're left guessing as killers of innocent and good people are walking around free. Thanks media. I'm glad I don't live in Florida.

For those who think they need a description of the killers, the surveillance cameras caught them, the police are working on people connected to the van, and more will come soon. This isn't television where someone is killed, the killer is caught and convicted in a trial all within the hour.

Police often won't release much information if they've got a hot lead on the perpetrators. I hear that they're close to arresting the killers. Many times, the criminal(s) have detailed information that could be known only by the person(s) committing the crime. I hope they can catch the three guys without a shoot-out, because the public deserves to know the motive in this case. Afterward, give them the death penalty. I'll even volunteer to push the plunger. (One thing comes to mind: Why did the guys take the family dog instead of killing it outright? It's strange...) Prayers and condolences to the couple's family, especially their foster kids.

As far as im concerned the owner just ran out of rights. He hid the van? sht his butt should rot in Prison. He probably helped clean evidence such as fingerprints out of it , Did anyone notice how clean the windows was. the van has been wiped clean. they need to follow closely the owner,He will lead them to the other ones involved. Crimes of this nature have a way of coming out.What I mean is some where some how ,it might even be a fluke but it will eventually come out.And when it does these 3 Idiots will be toast.That van is a real good start.If they would put that van on T.V.I believe some one whether a gas attendant or someone they gave a ride or just the general public might be able to put someone behind the wheel.And if it is teens involved there parents need dragged in this also!!!

I believe there's a lot more to this story than 3 teens randomly hitting a house & just so happen to kill that couple. there's GOT 2b much more involved than that. It will come out.

Unfortunately if any are juvi's there shall be no death sentence, if Florida even HAS death sentence. Its a shame criminals are so pretected by the justice system that alleges to protect the innocent. Even with such overwhelming evidence a good defense can squeak a killer to freedom with almost any pretense or excuse

The van was found in a run down black neighborhood. Unfortunatly in this town there is a *large* number of black thugs running around involved in all types of crime with very little consequences.

My guess, a child they raised is behind this. Sounds like a revenge killing. I would look hard at any adult children they have be it from their previous marriages, foster or adopted children.
