NO excuses for the Chinese reporting of this, but it is early days and they could mean 1 officially confirmed death.
These are the people who invented bureaucracy, and civil servants who send wrong figures upstairs tend to get executed, as do bearers of bad news…. So they would only report deaths which are confirmed and verified.

Unlike us, the china peasants don't have any responsibility for their gov't. They live with what they have been given by their ancestors. Moving 400,000 is not a big job for them, finding a place to put them is a big deal. Hope they make a solid choice.

Very safe place to live compared to the USA. Drugs are very hard to get, no guns allowed so guess what I can walk down any street in China and feel safe. China is not like you have been told by the USA government.
