He should do the chemo and not some witch-doctor organic healing crap.

Patrick Swayze has it better than others with his type of cancer...I had a good friend with a large family who worked until the day he died to support his family...suffering withthe pancreatic cancer, unable to eat, losing weight, etc. At least Swayze has enough dough to stay at home and try to live with the horrors of the disease.Hang in there Patrick....

Nice Man. Awful disease. It happens in all walks of life. No matter what the outcome, he sounds as if he's living the best he can with what he's been given.

My mom was diagnosed 4 weeks ago with pancreatic cancer and tumors in her liver. They gave us a treatment plan of chemo and radiation. She started 2 weeks ago, and she passed away January 1st. This cancer stinks. Patrick has done really well, but if it's in the liver and he has jaundice, it's going to be tough. I pray he makes it. I hope he uses his time to raise awareness and money for pancreatic cancer research.

THIS KIND OF CANCER KILLED MY BROTHER IN 2003. HE TOLD ME BEFORE HE DIED THAT HE WISHED HE HAD NOT HAD CHEMO BECAUSE IT TOOK HIM DOWN HILL VERY FAST..
IN 2002 I MYSELF HAD LUNG CANCER...I REFUSED CHEMO. THE DOCTORS ARE ARE STILL BRAGGING ON HOW GOOD I AM DOING.
I BELIEVE IF I HAD TAKEN CHEMO I WOULD BE DEAD MYSELF.
TOO MANY PEOPLE ARE DYING OF CANCER!!
I LIKE PATRICK SWAYZE...ONE OF MY FAVORITE ACTORS.

Patrick is a brave person..I can't even imagine his pain but to be scared of death means you don't have faith and that is the only thing that will save you....we all are going to die at some point just like the others before us. Some will be painful and some will be merciful but Jesus will help us thru whatever we need to do. Prayer is very helpful. God Bless you Patrick and your family. Walk with Jesus..Amen

If you have never had a Doctor look you in the eye and tell you that you have cancer you can't possibly imagine... been there... Patrick's form of cancer is one of the most severe... You have many fans who think highly of you Patrick and many who will take time to say a prayer for you.

I am disgusted with religion 'saving' us. All it does is cause death and dispair!

I lost a cousin at 47 to Pancreatic Ca. This is a nasty illness. On the up side a friend of mine's mother was diagnosed at 55 and lived to see 80!. I hope Mr. Swayze is as fortunate.

I think he has one chance to beat this and that is a surgery called a Whipple. He needs to find a surgeon fast, waste NO TIME! Time is of GREAT essence in this sort of situation, a Whipple is his chance, thats all there is to it, unless it's too late for that.

People should not listen to anybody promising betterment that is not a doctor especially when talking about a deadly disease ike cancer!!!!. The patient with cancer is so frail and scared and these nondoctors witches and shamans bastards crooks sell them nothing but false hope. Is time we all understand that there is no magic or secret for these things. Do what the doctors tell you to do and pray.

look at death and take it like a man. the way the world is so f***** up these days. I wished i were dead the longer i live. Hopefully death will come knocking on my door soon. Sometimes i think if there were really is a god he sure does like to see people suffer. life to god must be a game to god after all he created us. there are so many different belifs and religions witch one of them are we supposed to believe in and practice. I've come to the conclusion that if you believe in god he knows and if you don't he knows also. people are supposed to have been created in his image. everything people do god knows. with this i'll end with if there is a god then he will forgive all of us and accept our souls into heaven every single one of us.

First of all, I hope and pray that Patrick gets through this. I do like him not only as an actor but as a human being. He is so down to earth and not one of those Hollywood stars that think they are better than everyone else.
My second comment is to the idiot SHAKEY. If anyone is a fool it is Shakey. His lack of compassion is disgusting. Someone should give him a good ass kicking. HEY SHAKEY come on and see me and I will be more than happy to give you one.

I think Patrick Swayzee and family are absolutely amazing, anyone that is negative should walk a step in their shoes, my husband had to have a liver transplant at the age of 43, our lives have never been the same, we have lost everything but each other, all that is left to lose is our home, but we have each other. Patrick and family, we will keep you in our hearts and prayers every night and you will always be together.....just as we are, there is no greater joy and comfort than god and love....bless and god keep...ps. have to admit, never been a fan of any star in particular, but oh boy, my husband allowed me to get crazy while watching the movie "Dirty Dancing" awesome movie

What makes Mr. Swayze so damn special? Thousands of people die from this cancer. Because he is famous! Oh poo! my mother suffered from this cancer for 3 years. She was a shell of a person at the end. Her story was not plastered all over the place. Who really cares about these spoiled rich people...

I am sorry for the ones who have lost loved ones to cancer....I have had 3 cancer surgeries...and trust me...until you've been told that YOU have cancer....you can't truly understand how that person feels.....because you've never had it yourself....my heart goes out to Patrick and his family

Im so glad he is mad at this illness. sometimes that is what it takes to turn the tables on a horrible illness.Keep living life -Patrick -as you are, and not living life as a dying person.To give in is to lose and you seem to have alot of life in you.God Bless and thank you for so many hours of great movies and T.V.
