I cannot understand why they will station 68,000 troops in a 3rd world country like Afghanistan with untrained and ill equipped militants and only 28,000 troops in South Korea to defend against a country armed with nuclear weapons and 1.2mil soldiers......

SWhen soldiers die under Obama's leadership is no big news. Just a small report and that's it. when soldiers died un Bush's it was like the end of the Universe. Since Obama took office, there has been more attacks in Iraq and Afghnistan, and more of our soldiers dying per day than when Bush was the President. But Obama can do no wrong....He is the Messiah and he will make us safer, here and abroad, that's the song of the government run liberal Press. My consolation is that my son is alive today after 9 years in the Air Force, but others were not that lucky and we and our soldiers all are less lucky today with Obama as Commander in Chief.....This country is done....

President Obama has put the right components in place to work towards a potential victory in Afghanistan and has a working knowledge of forming better partnerships with other countries.
Allowing tribal leaders to have a say in when to engage the enemy, he is building a strong relationship with the leaders as well as fostering a strong network. I find it ironic that this is the same tactic he used to mop the floor up with the established Democrats and the Republithug party over the last two years. It appears he's a better tactitioner than all the minds that come up against him.
