Aruba police pursue new evidence in Holloway case (AP)

AP - A new witness has come forward in the 2005 disappearance of American teenager Natalee Holloway in Aruba, and prosecutors said Tuesday they are seeking more evidence against the only remaining suspect. » Full Story on Yahoo! News

They can't let that Joran van der Sloot get away with this! They have him on video confessing to another friend. I saw the video. He'd be toast in the US! What kind of justice system do they have over there? Drugs are legal. So as long as they can't find the body which is somewhere in the vast ocean, he's free to commit more crimes. Parents please learn from this. We should all ban Aruba. This is an outrage! He can brag to his friends that he killed a woman and then get away with it?! It could happen again. Maybe it has. We wouldn't know. Not everyone is like her mother, Beth Holloway, who has never given up and made sure the media covered this story fully! Why did this witness keep it to herself for so long? In the US, she'd be an acomplice after the fact. What kind of people are they? Ban Aruba until van der Sloot is convicted. Hit them where in hurts. Don't give this lawless Island any of your money! It could happen again! Ban Aruba now!

I think if I should ever want to commit a crime...I'll go to Aruba to do it. Their police and judicial system are a joke. You can commit the crime...tell friends about it...and still run around free. Why does anyone still vacation there?

We dropped any plans on visiting Aruba a couple of years ago. This incident was the main reason. Van der Sloot has too many connections. The Van der Sloot family will do all they can, along with the remaining ruling "elite" of Aruba, to keep this murderer free. Maybe this is why he's gone underground. Too many American sharpshooters are willing to take practice on his skull.

Joran is a real piece of work. The island of Aruba is a joke. I don't think they ever had any intention of solving this case. I wonder if this is another ploy by the Aruban law enforcement to pretend they are still working on this case. They know he did it and I really believe that in those first days after his arrest that he told them the truth. Makes me sick that he thinks he's so smart and above the law. He will get his one day. Karma is a bitch

Jordan Van Der Sloot is guilty as hell but we need to remember as unfair as it may seem Aruba has different laws and rules to go by than in this country. Now he's in Thailand shooting his mouth off that he's selling young girls there into the sex trade market. Maybe just maybe the Thai Police are going to go after him. Keep a good thought!

This guy should be extra-judicially taken down and "encouraged" to talk. .. Then dealt with the same way he dealt with this young girl.

Joran's Father is a high figure in the legal system on that island if you all didn't already know. It's all a shame really. Who knows what happened or who did it. Did you know that Natalie's mother is dating John Ramsey, the Father of the late Jon Benet Ramsey?

the father is just as guilty as the son is for helping him cover up the murder.
ALL I KNOW IS THAT IF THIS WAS MY CHILD THAT DIED AND HE KILLED HER, FIRST THE FRIENDS WOULD BE MISSING THEN THE FATHER WOULD BE MISSING AND THEN THE SON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND I'M NOT SAYING ANYTHING ABOUT THE ENJOYMENT I WOULD GET OUT OF CUTTING THEM UP INTO LITTLE PIECES WITH A HOT KNIFE, JUST SO THEY DON'T BLEED AND DIE... BUT CONTINUE SO THAT I CAN GO INCH BY INCH TILL I CAN THROW THEM OUT INTO THE STREET JUST A PARTIAL BODY AND HEAD THAT STILL LIVES BUT WITH NO ARMS, LEGS OR MOST OF THE TORSO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WANNA PLAY, THEN LETS PLAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! U R TOAST!!!!!!!!

I really don't know how this guy can live with himself! he makes me so sick, it's so obvious he had something to do with it and I don't think the authorities are pushing this guy hard enough, I really feel for her parents, it just tears your heart out.

Natalee was drunk, probably drugged, vomited, aspirated then had a terminal hypoxic "seizure". Now, try to prove that. Not easy. Disposing of body would imply guilt. Manslaughter at best.

The US shold put Aruba on the banned travel list and deny them all US tourist money until such time as those island dwelling incompetents solve the murder. Then again, maybe the parents should start a fund raiser and hire a couple of high quality Mercs to despense some in your face Justice. When institutions fail, all people have the right to take matters into their own hands. See John Locke's The Second Treatise of Civil Government, Chapter II, Of the State of Nature.

drunk is no excuse for covering up murder...
if my friend died of drinking i would not throw his body into the ocean to become fish food, i'd call the law, but with him he chose his road, and if it was MINE that was involved he chose my road or revenge............

I went to Aruba in late March 2006. As we toured the island on horse we went to this area not to far away from the lighthouse. It was just complete desert land..no homes, no paths. Just dirt flying around. We then came to a cliff. The guide that was with us told us if we were brave enough to go and look at the water. To which we all (approx 6 of us) did. The horses were not allowed anywhere near there. Horses stayed with the guide. The guide stated that no boat or person would ever survive this side of the ocean!!! The waves were approx AT LEAST 10 feet high!! As soon as my husband and I got close enough to see, I got the biggest chill and whispered to him " this is where they dumped Natalie. No one could ever go into these waters on this side of the island as per our tour guide." Nothing left to say!!!

I think somebody should grab that SOB and waterboard him...Once he breaks and tells all, throw him in a deep pit full of really angry rattlesnakes...Even that wouldn't be justice, but I sure would enjoy reading about it....I'd even pay to see the video - Mike in Calif

If the suspect is into the sex trade, is it possible the girl is still alive, that the talk of death was a smokescreen, that she's in forced prostitution somewhere???

She can't be forgotten!!! There is an answer to all of this. This Joran van der Sloot can not get away with this. I am a Christian and I believe that regardless of whether he gets his punishment here on Earth or not, he will receive the worst after all is done!!!

Yes, this is horrible and we all want to see Joran get thrown to the great whites as a penalty. But this should be a lesson to everyone to teach your children to BE RESPONSIBLE. Natalie never should have gone off by herself with 3 guys in a foreign country.
