Congress Needs A Read-The-Bill Bill (Investor's Business Daily)

Investor's Business Daily - Honesty: Lawmakers voted on the stimulus and global warming bills without having read either. Eventually they'll vote on health care legislation that could fund unrelated items. Time to end this systemic fraud. » Full Story on Yahoo! News

This article tells a lot about how we got into the current mess .. my favorite is still the subsidies for Puerto Rican rum makers in the TARP legislation. Nothing is what it seems. Few things stay true to their original legislative intent.

The only way to put a stop to the idiocy coming from Washington DC is to hold the inmates responsible for what is happening in the asylum.

Please forward this article to whitehouse.gov .. it is consistent with Obama's message on personal responsibility .. will it stick?

The amendments are all worded very curtly for an obvious reason. A simple stated item has no lines to read between.

As for the circus they run, until you have both (a) a president willing to just veto anything along these lines (and the line item veto isn't the same as guts based on principle) and (b) a majority in both the house and senate to not pass them in the first place, the circus will continue.

Congressmen and Senators use pork to win votes in a kind of federally funded reverse campaign contribution. They're buying votes in the next go-round using today's tax dollars.

As for reading the advisory sent to Congress by the EPA for the 'climate change' bill the Democrats did not have read it, they already knew what was in it. The results were dictated to the EPA prior to their generating the report. Hunh? What am I talking about? Well here it is, pay close attention to the links at the bottom of the page. The current administration would rather you didn't know about this.

You
see, now that "science has been put in it's rightful place" firmly controlled by the Politicians, the excremental science that states "mankind causes climate change" is no longer a scientific theory, it can only be classified as a religious theory, and Al Gore is the head Mullah.

Regardless of whether or not both Houses can or cannot read, I can.
Wall Street Journal. Investor's Business Daily. And the Ballots in 2010 and 2012. No, I don't like what I see. But there will be plenty of angry, indebted, homeless, jobless, destitute formerly contented citizens who will be voting along with me. Not one of the people who broke the bank deserved re-election. Same goes for the phony TARP, Stimulus, and CapNtax bills. Elected Public Servants need to know their place as well: Serving the Public, not themselves and their buddies.

Global climate change is not a theory, it is fact and the future of life on our planet is at stake . The science has been done . Investors Business Daily, responsible for this article, only cares about the Stock Market. Anything they write has to be considered biased. This Bill is a start in the right Direction. Deeper cuts in carbon emissions need to be made and sooner.
