Generational shift for U.S. Hispanics on abortion (Reuters)

A few weeks after a one-night stand and a failed morning-after pill, Ana saw only one option: Two days later she had her pregnancy terminated at a free clinic. The 28-year-old graduate student, who came to the United States from Guatemala when she was a toddler, called it one of the easiest, clearest decisions of her life. "Having a child is not in my plans right now," Ana said in an interview from New York City.
KEY WORDS HERE IS "FREE CLINIC"

I don't presume to judge Ana. She will be the one to live with her decision and to answer for it.

But I think it's telling that a small Hispanic baby was denied the Constitutional Right to Life, Liberty, And The Pursuit of Happiness, and Sotomayor supports this denial of Constitutional Rights. So which is the more basic of the two "rights"..? The right to "privacy" which is not mentioned anywhere in the US Constitution, or the basic right to LIVE which is mentioned very clearly in the US Constitution?

I am really confused with these pro-abortionist who think that a women should'nt have an abortion if she's raped or can not afford to take care of the child. I am confused because people are screaming about money for free health care etc. So the question to all of these "Godly People" I have not heard a single one of you "protesting saying you are going to raise these kids when they are abused and sexual assaulted themselves. The only thing I hear is no free health care for immagrants and no health care for the poor. QUESTION who is going to take care all of these kids that's not wanted ?

We TAX PAYERS who can NOT pay for the entire WORLD's problems. When will dems get thatr through their heads?

WHEN are American citizens' children, parents needs to be considered before the worlds? There is just so much $$$$$$$$ to stretch from the working, middle-class stiff.

PLEASE READ and THINK about this: "...the president's plan for 'credits' that will remove more of his supporters from the income-tax rolls, ... a majority of the people who vote in the next election will be nontaxpayers."

{They will be} "fully able to tax an oppressed minority with impunity, without themselves paying any income tax at all."

This is not a story about democrats or republicans. It is not a story about any particular religious group. It IS a story about people really taking a look at themselves and making a difficult decision - whether it is to continue or discontinue their pregnancy. Either one has consequences. I'm just happy that we have laws in place where they have the option to choose and are not forced to live their lives based on someone elses values and beliefs.

This "Babe" should have kept her legs closed..... hope she has herself checked for AIDS and all the other crap she can pick up from her "one night stand"...... I really don't give a hoot what she does but I know these "free clinics" aren't "free"..... nothing in this life is. Bet our tax dollars helped pay for her "good time"!!!!

I believe it is a woman's decision...it's not an unwanted child's fault their parents are dumba**ses, but as much as one wants others to give their children up for adoption or keep it, no one knows what their future will bring. Children are a gift from God, just ask any parent or even couples who have problems conceiving. Woman who have abortions, well they will have to live with it forever. No one can judge another human being until they themselves have gone through it! Adoption doesn't guarantee the same life some of these children would have if they'd been raised by their biological parents. And these clinics ARENT free! Doctors work in these clinics, and you know they are NOT working for free.
