I'm not sure why she's still being even considered. We're talking the Supreme Court here. There should be no doubt of a candidate's being blind to all but the written law. No questions. If there's even the slightest doubt, another candidate should be selected. That is how a judge should. She has made too many slanted comments and belongs to too many special interest groups to remain objective, or even the perception of being objective. Her votes and rulingswill always be questioned. There has to be a better candidate.

If Sotomayor doesn't win the appointment, I bet anything she'll sue the U.S. ACLU will be with her all the way. She's not fit for the for the bench...any bench, for that matter. And my opinion is based on her racist views and rulings and that I believe our Constitution should be upheld...something she and obama want to rearrange to suit themselves.

The woman has more experience than most judges on the supreme court currently. She has been involved in countless high profile cases including the firefighters case. She also graduated with high marks and can definitely add a different tone to an all white supreme court. Now are there questions about some of her decisions? Absolutely, but who does not have questions about previous decisions/cases? Be objective, don't simply be a Republican/Democrat.

She needs to be denied a seat on the court, being a biased bitch, and that needs to start a chain reaction - no cap and trade taxes, no health care taxes, no more bail out money, recover the bail out money that has been allocated but not spent, etc. If these things are not stopped, we will lose our country before the end of obama's term.......

Turn it around and tell me you wouldn't think it was a racist statement. If I said I thought I could reach a better conclusion because of the richness of my white experience than a black man who hadn't lived that life, wouldn't you think I'd have a rat's ass chance of being appointed to the Supreme Court, no matter what other credentials I might have?
