How terrible for the people, with so many thousands of houses destroyed it sounds like the relief effort of tents and stuff will be far short of the need. But I keep waiting to hear about a huge quake right under that big dam they build, on the unstable land and over a fault line and all that. Man when that thing lets go it will be incredible.
Yea either they build s***** buildings like during the other earthquake or God really doesn't like them. Their seems to be a lot of deaths in the country even though they are not in a War.
That sucks, I feel bad for the innocent. But they have plenty of our $ they can use to rebuild.

natures way of thinning out the population not to mention they dont want to spend any money there to quake proof buildings and houses.

Those Chinese people are really gettin a one set two, aren't they? Shoot fire, from all the riotin taking place and the earthquakes. I feel for those people and hope they can at least stay safe. I don't agree with a lot of what China does, but only the government there. Those poor ole rice farmers and innocent people are really takin a beating over there.

Actually Rosie O'Donnell was in China and fell down a flight of steps. That was the cause of the tremors.
Only 3 injuries per 100 houses turned to rubble. Either those were really tough Chinese or those were some pretty crappy houses.
Boy, which shows the World how much people know about China! Yunnan province is home to the Yi ethnic minority and many others minorities of their respective ancient town. Do you dislike these groups of minority too…?

Seems like a pretty light casuality list for a Chinese disaster. Usually an earthquake kills 300,000 and puts 20-30 million out on the streets? A dumptruck turning over usually gets you hundreds of casualities there.
This is interesting...therei s a theory that shortly before or after a solar eclipes... there will be a major earth quake in that regoin... guess what happens in China on July 22nd... very interesting.
