Palin has been criticized and scrutinized by the media even more than Blajojavich, Jefferson, spitzer, and all those Obama appointees that never paid their taxes. Her infractions (wearing expensive clothing) PALE in comparison to the wrongdoings of the aforementioned democrats (selling senat seats, not paying tens of thousands in taxes, illegally firing inspector general, embezzlement, prostitution rings).
Even though Palin does not appeal to me as candidate, I find it appalling that the women's organizations have not only remained silent throughout the unjust slandering of this woman and her young daughters, but that they too have taken part in it. It tells me that NOW (nat'l org. for women) hides behind "women's rights" to advance their liberal political agenda. I'm glad America is seeing this organization for what it really is.

Palin is just not intelligent enough to run anything important. Naturally, democrats don't like her conservative views but it's her blatant lack of brains that is so amazing and so scary. She's an idiot. How can people not see that? I wish the jokes made about her would just refer to her being stupid. Leave her family out of it. Her misconduct is fair game but stuff like Lettermans dumb joke caused sympathy for her. She's entertaining but embarrassing for the US in my opinion. Why all the comments on her looks? Why should that merit any mention? This is politics and what we need is smart leaders, not attractive or sexy leaders.
It's very obvious what's happened here: she couldn't take the heat so she got out of the kitchen. That's the smartest thing she's done to date. Being on the national stage was obviously beyond her abilities - apparent from most of her public appearances. The "feisty" show was nothing more than a put on. She couldn't even finish her term - obviously not fit for the presidency, or any other national office for that matter. Thank God we found out in time. Time to move on to a more qualified republican candidate.

As Governor Palin, Sarah Palin's actions are restrained both politically and financially; she has a duty to her office and to the people of the State of Alaska, that she she highly respects.
