AP source: Burris won't run for full Senate term (AP)

AP - Sen. Roland Burris, whose deep ties to former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich seemed to doom his Senate tenure from the start, will not run for a full Senate term in 2010. The move increases Democrats' chances of holding on to the former Senate seat of President Barack Obama. » Full Story on Yahoo! News

This is just 1 of 100 U. S. Senators that needs to go. All these crooks worry about is lining their pockets with money. They don't care about their constituents.

Will that old fool be eligible for a lifetime pension for having served that little bit in the Senate? I will be damned pissed if he is.

WHAT a surprise!!! But you folks have it wrong if you think he didn't do exactly what he was sent to do....be a backstop to guarantee a dem win in the next election. And yes, I think he does get the pension and health care.....you know...the plan WE can't get. He was never qualified to sit in the Senate, but that certainly didn't stop his predecessor from stepping into the Oval office.

Illinois needs to remember how the Democrates lied and changed things to mislead them when the election of 2010 rolls around.

This self-righteous "damned pissed" turn on like a light-switch attitude shown by you neo-con hypocrites can be shelved along with your "crooks lining their own pockets" speeches.

Looks like you're awfully busy multi-tasking the GOP agenda. Screw, bribe, and skim from the top. Running personal dating services from men's bathrooms. Screwing Argentinian "soul mates" instead of your biblical spouse. Falsely reporting that you're doing family oriented hiking in the Appalachians (in the Argentine Appalachians, maybe?).
Arranging bribes (contributions) from lobbyists and bankers (constituents) and giving it to your parents to extend your hush money (restitution to friends) and make the money actually work better than our national economy is working with the legislation you have created (prevented) from helping our country in times of need.

Republicans in 2010 and 2012. You betcha.

If he couldn't win re-election, what the hell was he sent to the Senate for in the first place? Maybe he knew a little something about O'bummer's Chicago mafia and this was a little pay off hmmm?

Blago, Ayers, Dorn, O'bummer, Emanuel, Burris, Resco - these terrorists, slimeballs and convicted criminals all knew each other, partied together, worked together in the Chicago political racket. And there are still liberals defending them. WOW!

I personally think Burris was good for politics because it proves that politicians are liars and care only for themselves. The fact it was Osama's seat (i mean obama), makes it clear that our President is just a phoney.

kinds like having the POTUS get a BJ from an employee, then lying under oath about it. Ever heard of Perjury? or leaving a girl to die in your car, submerged in a lake, while you ran away. Or being a democrat and a high ranking member of the KKK. or your wife being on the payroll of a chicago hospital that she never actually worked at. Or getting sweetheart land deal in Chicago. etc etc etc. See, it works both ways.

Hey what happened to William Jefferson the corrupt, cold cash, culprit from Louisiana. The 100000 dollar bribe taking, crook, democrat?? Is he in jail yet? Nothing much is expected out of the democrats and they always live up to our expectations. It kind of makes me wonder how many trillion Obama is going to deposit in his friends bank accounts.

Just hate to lose this honorable man. You'd think the Democrap Marxists from Chicago could at least have Burris return for a brief appearance in one of their freak shows on the midway. Perhaps BO could appoint him Ethics Czar for Cook County.

When talking about sex scandals the Republicans always have to resort to the Kennedy scandal THAT HAPPENED IN 1969 !!! That was 40 YEARS AGO! When Democrats talk about sex scandals they to look at their watch because the Republicans have one almost every day!
