British deaths raise questions about Afghan police (AP)

So the invasion force after much losses came to believe that "building up" collaborating Afghan forces will be the key to victory, in effect us/UK and other foreign puppet masters will be pulling the strings and the Afghan quislings and puppets will be doing the dirty deed on their behalf to subjugate Afghanistan to this cowardily occupation..

What is left out or missed out in this 'brilliant' scheme is the Taliban inevitable employment of this very scheme 'planting' their own elments within the Afghan collaborating security forces whome are being "mentored" and "advised" by the UK/us "advisors', and ambush the crusading scum from within as well as with out, a classic textbook resistance tactic , superbly carried out by the Taliban...
Seems to me like the coalition forces are outwitted and thwartd at every corner by ragtag Taliban resistance!

How come is that Afghans are 5 times better than British soldiers?

Yeah right. Isolated incident my ass. I was in afghanistan in 2007 when an afghan prison guard opened fire on my buddies. He killed two of the four, and even wounded, one of my guys managed to get out of the vehicle, and open fire with one hand with his MP5 and smoked that bastard as he was trying to run away. This crap happens all the time. Execute them all. Steamroll through the whole region and annihlate every man, woman and child, or just leave.

Kill them all. The Afgans Talibans and who ever else wants some. It is time for the USA to stop playing with these punks.

I say carpet bomb the whole country and be done. Bring our troops home and put them on the Boarder of our own Country. Carpet Bombing Mexico would not be a bad idea either and Maybe California.

This incident is awful. We should have finished in Afghan years ago - we're entering YEAR 8 of this conflict. The World Leaders and the UN need to work together for a solution - this is an international problem.

I'm sorry for the families of the soldiers who were killed like this. I guess you just can't tell which Afghan policeman is going to perform as expected. You train these guys and then an incident occurs , then one of them starts firing on your comrades. Insurgents are everywhere and they gain the trust of the coalition forces , then they kill US, British , and any other forces that are there to help them . Watch out , trust no-one , and stay vigilant.

War is not the answer over there; we have no chance of helping people who do not want us there just as our foreign policy in Vietnam was a complete debacle. This incident is just another reason why the U.S. and NATO countries should pull out their ground troops from Afghanistan. The Afghan people are not to be trusted. We went through this in Iraq, with people either posing as policemen, or actual members of the Iraqi police force turning against us. These two countries are filled with traitors, and their allegiance is sold to the highest bidder, which evidently in this case wasn't Great Britain. In Muslim countries, it is difficult to tell exactly who is the enemy, because they all look alike.
