I think i would never buy it just because its made in china. If they think they are to good to pay Americans to do the job right, instead they pay them @$$holes 10 cents to slap it together. I know my kids life is worth more then that. All i can say you get what you pay for!

This is what happens when we buy products from companies who are more interested in profit than quality, craftsmanship, and the hard labor of the people putting products together.

Buy US products and we will have a stable economy... even if it costs a little more... it may save another child's life, or a pet's life, or even your own life!!!

When I worked for Walmart years ago, they prided themselves--even bragged about--two things: First, that they (the distribution centers) were never open on Sundays, and second, that nearly everything Walmart sold was made in America.

Then they got hungry and sold cheap stuff while putting real stores out of business.

Let the recent 400,000 people who are now out of work, repair the 400,000 cribs.....Do something...

And by the way, what part of "melamine, lead, cheap crap, and sweat shops" DON'T WE UNDERSTAND???

How can we ban things that are made in China if nearly everything sold in stores is made in China??? Especially if you have little money and can't afford the better things? Everything is about quantity and not quality. Companies want the bucks and they don't care about selling safe, quality, well-made products. This is a joke. We can't even keep our babies safe. That's sad. This is the negligence of American companies and negligent Chinese production. We really need to start manufacturing in the United States again. Get our companies back here!!!

I will not buy things from china.! China cares less about safety . How much more of this sh####*** do we have to go through. Sadly one child died but you have to admit that in general, people get way too carried away about this stuff. Here they are recalling $400,000 cribs. Next thing you know they will be recalling ALL electrical outlets in our homes because a child stuck their damn fork in there.
I am all about safety but the fact is: This crib is far safer than anything they had when I was born.

They went too far this time. These cribs have been roaming the streets and committing crimes for years now. Killing a baby for whatever reason is unjust. I would recall all of these gangsta's, not just a few hundred thousand of them.

It amazes me how people continue to buy crap made in China. Before you put anything in your cart, double check it and make sure it is not made in China. Do not support anything that is done overseas...all of this is taking jobs away from us and food from our childrens mouth. Do not support anything made overseas, stay away from the Dollar Store, Dollar Tree, etc. all of their stuff is made overseas...

Let's see.....what is the word I am looking for....CHINESE???????? Are we crazy for trusting our babies in anything they have marketed??????

There are a lot of parents who should be recalled, too. Have to have a license to cut hair, but not to have a child--or a dozen. Could just keep their zipper up until they can afford a good crib Now we know how to fill up all those black holes in space--just send off a whole lot of parents and baby cribs. Giant sucking sound as they disappear into the void: Suuuuuhhhppp.......ujjjjjj.......burp.

This is geeting ridiculous. No one in this country is able to take blame for themselves. So let me get this straight - 399,999 perform correctly. 1 baby dies as a result of getting caught somewhere on the crib, and we recall all of the cribs. My goodness - I bet every product I grew up with in the 70's and 80's could have killed me in some sort of way. Parents - be responsible!

WalMart knew about this until it is being recalled. They did nothing until the last minute.
