American politicians and the United Nations should have controlled North Korea's armaments a decade ago instead of waiting until they developed even further the technology needed to launch even ONE nuclear missle test, let alone two. This "footsy" political garbage is precisely why the first UN bombing occured in NYC and precisely why both the Alfred P. Murrah bombing in Oklahoma City and the Twin Towers terrorist attacks across three states occured, including known Arab-Muslim terrorists parking a damned airplane on the front porch of the FBI!! The U. S. could never have controlled anything that North Korea did, except through diplomacy, because of China's long term support for North Korea. To believe otherwise, is to be naive.
We haven't had a way of controlling Iran since the fall of the Shah in 1979. Now, at least the Iranians are willing to be engaged.
Even today, diplomacy is the key to dealing with North Korea, that and the imposition of economic sanctions, if need be. Iran is already subject to economic sanctions, and that is one of the reasons for their willingness to participate in talks.
Hilliary Clinton is effectively the most influential SecState we've had in more than 50 years. She is more than capable of influencing European powers to put the pressure on both rogue nations, and she has both clout and history on her side.

By her own account Hillary is the most intelligent woman in the world. How xcome neither N Korea or Iran are taking her advice..?. She is not threatening them because that goes against Obama's compassionate diplomacy, but she is allowing them to load up on nukes that will be used against us some day and on their own neighbors....Hillary has been a disaster, and I think by design by Obama to get her out of his shadow as far as possible and as long as possible. She has only taken leisure trips paid by the taxpayers...
