Calls grow for probe of CIA plan for al-Qaida hits (AP)

AP - Congressional demands for an investigation grew on Monday over new disclosures that a secret CIA program to capture or kill al-Qaida leaders was concealed from Congress for eight years, perhaps at the behest of former Vice President Dick Cheney. » Full Story on Yahoo! News

Good job, Cheney! The Dems in Congress would have leaked the info to the New York Times anyway, and those professional traitors would have been proud to print it and to endanger the lives of millions of Americans!

Thank you, Cheney, for keeping us safe since 9/11.

Thank you fo ryour service, and for being willing to defend out country, unlike the current apoligist administration, Mr, Cheney.

The dems would make great magicians! They keep you busy watching the one hand while they rob you blind with the other! They'll try to sneak the second "stimulaus"/dem-pork package through while the media focuses on this non-storie!

Thank God Cheney and Bush were heading things up, after 9/11. They did a fantastic job of keeping America safe. Brilliant job, Cheney. Things were handled superbly under the Bush/Cheney watch.

The CIA has been totally ineffective for years. Pre-war CIA intelligence on Iraq was nil to zilch because we had practically abandoned the use of ground field agents through the 1990s and depended wholly on satellite surveillance. So I say close and cut off funding for the CIA now. We can use the money for really important stuff like health care, social programs and tattoo removal. Besides by eliminating the CIA now, we can prevent future Dick Cheney types from using it to spy on American citizens! This will also help in saving on court costs for having to indict such people when they abuse power....so we gotta twofer here! Besides the whole world hates the CIA and what it stands for. By closing the CIA O'Bama can change all that hate into love! I'm sure CIA Chief Leon Panetta can be more useful elsewhere in the administration. O'Bama needs to hire more czars anyway because that's how work really gets done.

It's sad to think that the only thing that will make assh*les like Feinstein shut up is another 9/11. How the hell did we let our country fall into the hands of spoiled, disillusioned brats?

The majority of the postings here are demonstrative of why Bush-Cheney thought they could do whatever the wanted. These postings indicate that a large group of Americans don't the first understanding of the law and how the law relates to the Constitution. The American education system is no longer turning out citizen who are well informed enough to vote for anyone charge with the preservation of our Constitution and the ability to legislate. This is exactly the kind of society the Republicans envisioned when they began assaulting the public school system---MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.

Does anyone see the irony of an administration made up of tax cheats that are trying to prosecute people for breaking undetermined laws... all this for protecting us in a time of war.

I'll bet if somebody really wanted to dig they could find a few laws broken by Feinstien. This broad is not exactly squeaky clean.

Isn't it strange that the "boss" of the CIA 'all of a sudden' finds out about a program that the agency he manages is purportedly carrying out, and has been carrying out for more than the 6 months he has been on board. "Suspicious"? 'Timely'? or does it just speak to the "leadership" Mr Obama has in place? I would hope that Mr Panetta would not be UN-intelligent enough to be throwing up smoke screens for Nancy without seeing how it might shed light on how he must be doing his job.

The people who elected these cretins are the X-Gen crowd! They're the ones with their hats on backwards. They live a 24X7 life of texting, tattoos, piercings, gaming, music, dancing, movies, and idol worship that ranges from Michael Jackson to BO. They don't have time for logical and deductive reasoning. That's too much like work. They're all about feeling and emotion. Things like having a better orgasm tonight than last night are always at the top of their to do list! They look to gov't for the answers and their man promised them everything they wanted to hear.

The nearest thing to eternal life we will ever see on this earth is a government program.' -'Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it' Ronald Reagan

Feinstein is absolutely right in assuming Cheney broke the Law by withholding vital information from Congress. Bush also broke the Law by intentionally lying to Congress about Iraq having weapons of mass destruction. And holding vote-counters at gun-point. Hope they both go to jail. But is it worth the expense? Aggravation? US has other issues: reducing medical expenses, saving the planet ... this week President Obama identified $15 BILLION banks were taking servicing government student loans! CA wealthy are paying 33% tax while middle-class and poor pay 67% and they wonder why the crash? 'Reganomics' wasn't soo great after-all. 52,000 US citizens evade paying taxes in Swiss accounts! There's enough money to pay for next ten years budget! Corruption this Administration unearthed is phenonenal! Middle-class has been funding the coffers of the wealthy for much tooo long.

I am debating what to do about my status as a registered democrat . I am shamed of the current leaders in congress. Yes smoke screen after smoke screen and then sneak a cap and trade bill through. The President has shown his true colors, he nothing short of a neo communist. I'm not a fool and nor are most of the thinking voters of this still great country. We need to relieve these people of there positions of power before they dismantle this country into something we won't recognize.
