And where does this $155 billion dollars exactly come from? Easy. The taxpayers pay for it. Talk about one expensive bill.

C'mon America. Healthcare is NOT a right. It is a PRIVILEGE.

O yea currently they have to do a lot of this for free for the people that show up in the emergency rooms and can't pay. Get the government to have insurance for these people and they can bill us the tax payers. What a dream I bet they will throw in a few bucks because they stand to gain a lot of bucks.

Are politicians still confusing health insurance with health care? This administration has all the right answers to all of the wrong questions. When democrats and republicans alike understand that insurance carriers and malpractice attorneys are the root cause of our health care failure, only then will we be able to have effective reform.

Ok lets see, 155 billion that those hospital associations can afford to play with, because you know they won't cut deep into their profit margin.

If they got that kind of money laying around then why is health care so through the roof?

Funny how the hospitals have so much money to contribute. Now everyone should know why reform is needed so badly. Get the insurance companies out of health care. Not one republican wants a public option. They just want to maintain the status quo and protect the facist corporate lobbyists who control their votes. The democrats must keep the public option in any health care bill to keep the insurance companies competitive and force them to lower costs. Without that public option these criminals will just continue to fix their prices to keep prevent any competition.

The liberals are so high on socialized medicine. Why?? Probably can't afford medical insurance and want the rest of us to provide for them. But socialized medicine means lowered medical standards throughout this country. Older people are simply condemned to death if they require anything extensive. That's a great CHANGE from the left!! A real positive contribution. Hurray Obama!!
We need to take our country back. Get rid of this totally corrupt political system, special interests, incompetent justice system, corrupt lawyers, thieving doctors...etc

Like the drug companies and the doctors the hospitals were taken into a backroom and beaten with a rubber hose. What a joke. The reality is the Obama administration is bullying these people to either cave in and give up money or else. We will all be paying for this folks. The people who have no insurance will be getting it for free. Once the government plan is in place watch your employer drop your private plan and you will be in the government plan because your employer will save money that you will NEVER see. Instead you will have worse medical care and be paying more for it to pay for the freeloaders. WAKE UP nitwits and stop text messaging mindless messages all day and listening to I Tunes. Your being sold down the river by Obama. Obama wishes the Michael Jackson circus would continue for a few more weeks so they can slip thru the healtcare bill like they did the energy tax increase bill.

The thing is , while you dummies are busy bashing, some of you guys are going to need affordable healthcare, actually probably all of you are going to need it. Its amazing how many of you dont have insurance but you guys will bash the people who are trying to get you the care you guys might need. ANd what is really amazing is , this will not cost the tax payers anything.

Forst... the banks bail-out (now owned by government), next the auto manufactures get bailed out (will be owned by government), now the hospitals are joining in. I'm sure there's a price to pay and the government will own all hospitals as well. Sounds like pure socialism to me. All those rumors I heard during the election are true!
No, I sure as HECK DID NOT VOTE FOR THIS COMMUNIST!

Imagine all the people who weren't able to afford any healthcare whatsoever and how bad they've had it up until now. I will gladly wait in line for them.

$155 billion which will come from:

A. Hospital profits (ha ha ha ha ha)
B. Never Never Land
C. The much abused citizens of the US

Hint: people don't understand that "free" money isn't really free. We are ultimately paying that $150 through increases in our health plans.

I still don't understand why any American would support this unless you are without insurance or too lazy to work to get insurance. Please explain to me why I have to take away from my children to give to you poor morons that don't want to work???

they keep saiying they want to cut the cost of this where everyone would have insurance for the they say 45 million people that dont have none. one thing if we keep the borders open theres going to be that many more people here in the usa it;s time to shut them down where every tom dick and harry cant come here and not pay taxes and then send there money back to where they came from they must think the us is a big welare line for them. plus they come here on work programs and never go back and the goverment dont do a damn thing to them. we have too many people in the usa now we dont need more coming in here taking jobs and sucking the goverment for every penny they can get out of it SHUT DOWN THE BORDERS ITS REAL EASY TO FIGURE OUT .

I'm sure that the hospital contributions were extorted by the Obama administration. Public run healthcare is a disaster! Just ask the Canadian government officials that regularly come over the border to the US for treatment. As for countries like Germany that have supposedly great socialized care, it's easy to do if you don't have to support your own military (we are their military).

I see the leftist children are like- "whee whee, something for nothing, something for free, take it from someone and give it to me!" "Daddy Bama gowna make it all good fo me and I will get it fo nuthin!" Children are so naive, you know. They think manna falls from the sky. Everything is for free but some baddies been holding it back, but now they gonna get it. Or throw a tantrum. If too many people think like that, we are screwed, I am afraid. No, but they are too.
