If it's a private club, why are camp directors setting these kids up? Sounds suspicious. Private clubs are set up to guarantee privacy . It has nothing to do with racism. Black clubs have the same rules. Try there.
I'm surprised the club booked the kids in the first place. I have worked at a number of country clubs and unless you are a member you are treated as though you don't really exist. I guess they couldn't ignore all the children and thier true faces were shown. Members pay tens and sometimes hundreds of thousands of dollars a year so they don't have to interact with anyone of a lesser class. It's to bad I'm sure thier kids could have learned alot and maybe even become friends with the kids in the camp. I guess it doesn't matter how much money you have you still fear what you refuse to know.
They took the money. What's "private club" got to do with anything. They returned the money after they saw "who" paid. Apparently race does matter.
whatever the issue this club has, it is extremely rude, obnoxious and immature for them to have reacted to these children like this - and the children WERE defacto members because full membership had been paid!
i think most parents need a refreasher course in ethics, but we cant blame them we must blame their parents and so forth and the beat goes on when will we wake up world
You can vote me down all you want on my comment, but it is speaking from experience. Black kids act like fools at swimming pools and pay no regard to the rules. They run all over the place and jump in the pool where they shouldn't be jumping. They often get in the way of others and are extremely rude. I'm not saying all black children are like this, but the majority of them are. I can completely understand why the other parents were taking their kids out of the pool. It had nothing to do with the actual color of their skin. It probably had to do with the way they were acting.
allot of people still refuse to have open minds and pass there bitterness and racist views on to there kids so the next generation of kids will be a bunch a biggots. just like the biggots here on yahoo, its sad and shows the level of racism still very alive and not only alive, its still being passed on to the next generation of future scumbags.
By God people! These children where not hurting anyone. Most "private clubs" rent out there facilities to non-members for activities that are not open to the members. Why not make every Monday for a few hours, "rented time"? Those snobs seem like they could use a break from sun. Obviously it's cooked their brains and souls!
Someone should sue on behalf of the children.....
a**w***! You don't treat people like that! Especially children!
Ignorant people such as these a$$holes should be shot!!! Who in the hell do they think they are???!!! They aren't better than anyone else. What a bunch of BIGOTS!!!
It is always sad when black people first learn they are black people. I feel a little sorry but then realize that God made everyone who they are. I am not fond of black people. I do not like their music, manners, language or even the sight of them. If I pay thousands of dollars to swim in the company of my own race, that is my right.
one question what does naacp stand for? is there a counterpart for the whites? and by the way it was wrong to kick the kids from the pool. my kids play with everyone god help the person who tries to stop them. but the sword cuts both ways. predudice has to stop on all fronts not just one side.
If I were a member having paid big bucks to enjoy the amenities of the club and 65 little rugrats showed up I'd be VERY upset. Wouldn't matter if they were black, green, pink, blue, white, yellow 65 kids is waaay to many for a club sized pool. The club is totally at fault for contracting this side deal.
Wow, I really freaked when I saw the location. I grew up in Huntingdon Valley, PA. We moved away when I was still in elementary school, but I remember living in a predominantly Jewish community that seemed very tolerant of other cultures. I was sad when I read this story, because I loved my childhood in Pennsylvania, and then I got really bummed when I saw the HV in the location byline. Is this pool In Hunt. Valley or did the reporting just happen from there? Any local, can you comment?
So Tyrone and Paco wont swim today. Great now they can go to 7-11 and rip it off.
I dont know why people seem so surprised. Racism is all over the U.S. its just not PC to talk about it.
the people founding this country made one HUGE mistake bringing the blacks here as slaves. They never thought about what was gonna happen to the blacks in the future. Now, this country has to pay for this sin forever. Let's face it, most white people don't really like living next to blacks for many different reasons, the very least of which is racism, which is why they moved out to the suburbs. They only put up with blacks out of force. most are tired of it.
Bigots, cowards and good-for-nothing hicks. Pennsylvania is a toilet. To treat children like this, talk about them in front of them like they're furniture. I will bet big bucks that all those racists go to church every Sunday and somehow convince themselves that god made blacks for them to kick around. PIGS.
I hope they sue that club into bankruptcy. Then the Fing racist parents can explain to their kids why.
This was totally uncalled for. The club had to know who they were renting the pool to so if there was going to be a problem why did they take the money in the first place? And these parents should be ashamed of themselves. Talk about showing THEIR true colors.
Personally, I don't swim in public pools and, no, I don't have my own. I just don't like swimming in the same water as other people, especially children. Race has nothing to do with it since there are plenty of white people who are extremely dirty.
Well, well, discrimination is alive and well in Pennsylvania! All of that state is a bunch of coal munching bigots. That's Biden's home state isn't it? Wonder what the "Brainiac" has to say?
“Man , if I want Palins opinion . I'll talk to her a****** ”
