It's sad to hear that she died. My deepest sympathies go out to her family and friends.

She was nine weeks old, not two days. James Cameron, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Kate Winslet have tons of money and all they could give her between the three of them was a total of $30,000? I hate celebrities.

Surviving its what its all about, Whether your on the Titantic or in today's economy. Ray Lanfear Google me. A lot of people died aboard the Titantic due to the "class system on ticketing". Here in Vegas we have an exhibit of the Titantic, where you can see many of the artifacts and see what the different classes of passengers went through.

Please rest in PEACE, Millvina, as well as all of the other passengers and crew of the ill-fated TITANIC. I have been simply enraptured with this incredible and tragic story since reading Walter Lord's book A NIGHT TO REMEMBER as a third grader many years ago. Her (TITANIC'S) memory and of those who sailed with her will live with me for the rest of my life.

Awww, I agree how very very sad. Truly an end of the gilded age. RIP.
I hope you finally get to meet with your father whom was lost on the Titanic when you were just an infant. Your story will live forever.

"Among the donors to the Millvina Fund were Hollywood actors Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio, who starred in the 1997 "Titanic" film. The pair and the film's director, James Cameron, reportedly donated 30,000 US dollars in total."

The biggest box office hit ever and they only donated 30k. 30,000 is like donating a few Chanel suits.

WHAT IS THE "BIG DEAL"?
She was 9 WEEKS or MONTHS Old.........!
It's NOT 'as if'' she REMEMBERED IT or could talk ABOUT IT!
AND as for Leonardo, Kate and James...that was a JESTURE ...they WERE NOT Expected to pay for the Funeral...WERE THEY?
It would have been a WASTE....What point would it be to give it to her Surviving Family?
HOW Much did YOU give, "Taylor"?
W-T-F was THAT Criticism ABOUT?

I don't think she would have been placed in a bag.... or her father die.... if the family had money. I think most of those with money survived...except for those who sacrificed for others.
I doubt they would have received a suitcase full of clothing from NYC either... had they been wealthy.
It is sad to bid farewell to the last survivor. My grandmother used to cry at the memory of the sinking of the Titanic. She was a young girl at the time and the story made a lasting impression upon her

So, the last survivor of the Titanic has died. Now, there are no survivors from that day in 1912. However, the true story will always be told by their descendants.

It is sad,but she did live a long time. I feel bad for all the children and babies that had to die simply because their parents were poor or they were Irish or a minority.
