I'm sooo glad that the UN barred North Korea from firing ballistic missiles. I feel much better now. WHAT!! You say that tiny impoverished North Korea defied the UN and fired some missiles anyway? How dare they?!! Well, we'll just have to show them what's what and hold all of the coins they have in their piggy bank uintil they promise to behave. We'll give them a good talking to! Liberals call it dialogue.

Is it really going to take a blinding flash over some american city before we wake up and realize that North Korea and Iran are serious threats?

This just in North Korea has fired all their weapons at America and BO has issued another warning for them not to do it again or he will not sit down and talk to them and he will have the UN get involved again!!!

Support Missile Defense NOW! Carl Levin, John Murtha, Nancy Pelosi, etc. all want to quit funding only defense program capable of defending the US from EXACTLY this type of insane aggression.

"the UN has barred NK from shooting ballistic missles". If you are stupid enough to believe the UN can effectively do ANYTHING, then you are probably stupid enough to be a politician in the USA.

What NK should do is invade SK. Since they now know Ochimpa will do nothing.
I find it funny that we have a "pointman" on talks about talks for sanctions. Government double speak.

Two things are absolutly certain:
#1 .Korea is encouraged by China to pester the USA, and attempt to create a situation wherein China's soft-toned appeal for everyone to remain calm would seem superior to other nation's responses...DPRK needs money, China is desperate for world acceptance, in light of 60 years of human rights ignorance...just now China would prefer to be "known as good and wise" for people, although China has not made ANY changes in human rights within China. I live in China.

#2 Due to China's "One China Policy" and the USA support of Taiwan, as well as, continued criticism of the PRC/CCP by the USA, China has vehemont anomosity toward the USA, and encourages DPRK to taunt the USA into looking foolish

Chian intends to step out of prehistoric destitution, into the world of high fashion and prestigue all in one year...all the while retaining it's beloved "developing nation status" so as to avoid high costs of air pollution fines, tarrifs and prefers to continue massive airpollution, citing it has it's right to pollute, becasue other countries have also polluted in the past, and have had the privelege to profit from that pollution, China fully intends "to have it's turn at the trough" Hell or High Water.

Future headline:

"North Korea invades South Korea, Thousand killed and taken prisoner"

Meanwhile in other news, Barack and Michelle have a date night at Marrion Berry's house in DC. Barry (not Obama) was quoted saying "no smoking crack you two" The state provided sitter reported that Malia and Sasha had successful bowel movements and the results would be made into an hour long news special on ABC.

personally the unlicensed goofballs atop elctric psycho-cycles running amouck around the cities of Jiangsu and Zhejiang Provinces are nothing short of delusional operators, who prefer the aggressive controlling style of attempted manipulation of all others in the same street....hahaha, just like chinese chickens are all skin and bone, there is no meat in them though....laoweis who stand their ground, quickly learn what fools the psycho-cyclists really are..just like their Big Daddy Hue? and he is the one who encourages the trailer trash of DPRK to toss garbage balls at the world, with vehemont hatred fo the USA in particular. Sadly, Iran also feeds of that peer-type relationship w/PRC/CCP aristocrat-wanna-be's..Oddly, the Chinese could never have the class of an Englishman even if the world allowed them to strut and manipulate freely. Trailer trash begets the same.

If North Korea wants a workable nuclear weapons system, the only certain way tho prevent that is through preemptive military action.

Offering KN bags of candy if they won't go that route will only work if they A) really don't want a nuke that bad, or, B) think their infrastructure will be taken out anyway and they'll have no nukes and no candy.

It's beginning to get pretty obvious that NK thinks the rest of the world is bluffing, and it's beginning to look like they're right.

DPRK is the one bluffing...as a Christmas turkey...like a child with a screwdriver in his hand, eventually the fat boy will poke himself in the eye...then China will have egg on it's face too, either way I'd wager they both retreat to isolationism, pouting chiildren as they both are.

the border along China/DI[shitNorth, is busy with Chinese trucks and boats swimmingly delivering loads and loads of supplies to the lovely neighbors.
Chinas request for all partys to remain calm is nothing short of abject equivocation, and in lihgtof their shared history, it'd seem, anyone who epxerienced some pre-1960's greivance with either nation will be targeted somehow, some way...Chinas achilles heel is it's outright worship of money, the new addiction...no longer Opium. Meanwhile China desperatly looks in every location for some possible way to criticise or draw some possible negative light toward the USA, moot point though. The world knows what an absolute contradiction of logic, and disgraceful human behaviors exist among and within the Chinese and the PRC/CCP

...but seriously folks, the only people in the whole world who'd want to migrate In to China, are those paultry souls entombed within the DPRK slave machine. The DPRK army/etc. fights for 2 reason, no alternative, and because their fat ased leader dresses them funny....don't the large hats their officers must wear "look" like the "Flying Nun" can't you imagine Sally Feilds wearing one?...who knows maybe the hats are also "breather covers" for the trucks/jeeps from 1950.

soo, faced with "no alternative" the DPRK will fight or die, either way. Therefore, if an attack occurs, then let the missles fly, and pour on the napalm....can't you just see their faces now? Goose-stepping along, bayonets fixed and directed forward....skin melted away? Then salt, lots of salt, air-borne dispersal of salt to help heal their wounds.
Sure many will die on both, but the unavoidable consequence of that form of government is exactly what the USA is opposed to and must not tolerate (if an attack were to occur)....until the DPRK actually damages/obviates USA property..they are still just bluffing...and puffing, like old fat people do when they get up off their asses for more water, or to talk, etc. The new PRC/CCP is far more subversive and threatening and we wil have a war with them one day.

The U.S. could wipe N. Korea off the map. Literally. Let them fire one warhead at any of our people. They might even get an ass wuppin even if they upset enough of our friends. Oops, wait, I forgot who our president was now. Oh, crap were in trouble!

These are scary times. If only we had a leader who would put our fears to rest thru decisive action vs "can't we all just get along" rhetoric.

America will do nothing about N. Korea. We did nothing during the Koren War. It ended in a stalemate with thousands of lives lost. Why? Because America can`t fight 200 million Chinese. Just as we couldn`t in the Korean War.

This was as close to a face-saving way of backing down as Kim could get; go overboard on the short- (and possibly mid-) range missiles, but he failed to test the long-range version he threatened to aim at Hawaii. He should still be taken out, though...

I have been reading these posts about NK over the last several weeks. Everyone has been calling Obama names for not doing anything. 4 Of July has passed and Hawaii is still there. If Obama had listened to people on here we would now be at war with NK. Instead, Obama took the logical and sensible approach. Kim Jong Il is a little man that likes to talk alot.
