Al-Qaida's No. 2 leader insults Obama with racial epithet (AP)

AP - Al-Qaida's No. 2 leader used a racial epithet to insult Barack Obama in a message posted Wednesday, describing the president-elect in demeaning terms that imply he does the bidding of whites. The message appeared c***fly aimed at persuading Muslims and Arabs that Obama does not represent a change in U.S. policies. » Full Story on Yahoo! News

Hopefully Obama just ignores this BS. There's no need to get all riled up because some douche bag terrorist is talking sh-t.

Its just another example of a lunatic fringe terror organization seeking to get some press for their deluded ideas. The news organizations should not even bother reporting this stuff.

Like the previous post says IGNORE IT. If these people spent as much time wondering about their own there would be a lot less stress in the world.

I feel if the Al-Queada knew our American History before the consitution was ratified they would know that Mr. Obama was or is not the first Black President of the United States!!!! A Mr. J. Hansan who served as Our Very first president Not Mr. Washington, however it was only for a year. Not Only that but back ib 1968 Robert Kennedy was quoted Saying that we would have a Black President in 40 Years!!!! do the math 1968-2008 well!!!!TrR4l& (deep subject for a small word)

Hey, if these r**h*** idiots are slamming Obama, then perhaps it is yet another sign that we picked the RIGHT GUY to be persident? Seriously, you watch, Obama will focus the war on targeting those who actually attacked us on 9/11 ... unlike baby bush! I'm very proud of our new president, and that's a good feeling to have again, after So long...

Al-qaida doesn't deserve the time of day, and all of the friends I have who are Muslim are disgusted with their actions and how they've managed to portray Islam.

In all fairness though, the term "abeed al-bait" does literally translate into "house negro", not "house slaves". The authors have it wrong. "al-bait" means house, and "abeed" translates into "negro". I guess it's the media's job to throw gas on the fire, whether it's correct or not.

i have to say that..why do we care what terrorists have to say about our president.obama is a great change for this country and hopefully will make all the changes needed in this country to get it back to where it needs to be.the racial comments are something that only shows ignorance in the eyes of these people who live in a time where they think whites rule over everyone...update yourselves! blacks, hispanics, and other nationalities in this country all have a right...the days of slavery ended and so should people's ignorance towards racial matters

I like Michael's post. I think it is pure denial on the part of posters who think Pres. Obama should ignore this. It shows the heart of radical Islam. What I think would be a novel idea is if Khalidi and other American Muslims who support Obama grow a set and denounce Al Zawhari's comments. If American Muslim's don't denounce a call to violence against our President it becomes enabling or as I like to say, the cowards will remain silent. You won't hear anyone in the middle east denounce old Al's comments because they understand how powerful the radical's are among the majority Shia population.

Those who read this that know anything about psychology will see the propaganda in the message to stir trouble in the US. It would be in their best interest to divide this country in a racial dispute similar to their religious dispute that has already brought many countries to chaos. These people know this!! This is more reason for all of us to unify and stay strong as a people, undivided by anything.

Without watching the performance of Mr.Obama, such remarks against him by Al Qaida are unwarranted, unethical and unsound.

See, here's the ironic thing. 1/4 (ok, 23%) of Texans thought Obama was a Muslim. I'm guessing that 5-10% of Americans thought (or at least claimed) Obama was a Muslim. My guess is that a far lower percentage of Muslims thought Obama was Muslim.

To be clear, I don't see there anything wrong with being a Muslim, just pointing out an interesting irony.

Go figure al-Zahwri is talking out of his ass once again. He just has to make a comment about our country because he is sooo miserable in his and is just a miserable person overall. Amazing how one person can make such accusations without knowing anything about Obama or the U.S. to begin with!!!

Durham, I think you miss the point a bit, but your thoughts are well intentioned. Al-Quaida does not speak for American Muslims. American Muslims are, first and foremost, American. It's a given that they don't support violence against the president, and all of the ones that I know are disgusted with Al-Qaida's actions. Asking the American Muslim community to renounce these actions plays into Al-Quaida's hand of trying to link their actions to the broader Muslim community. This is simply not the case. They are a small renegade organization which DOES NOT enjoy support from the broader Muslim community, any more than David Koresh spoke for the broader Christian community. Speak to your Muslim friends, or anyone who you know who's Muslim to share their thoughts. It's an eye opener.
