RFID can be used with proper security measures. RFID provides an alpha numeric unique ID. The chip does not contain any data. If the data is kept in a secure database, skimming one's RFID number gets you nothing without access to that database. Having said that, put a switch on the damn thing so I can turn it off when I want.

They shouldn't be doing this kind of stuff anyway. It is a privacy issue. I don't care how much these companies or the government says it isn't. Why would I believe them? They constantly lie. Yep, the infrastructure is basically in place now in every store etc. All of you people that use electronic money so to speak are promoting it. Not much difference between swiping a card and running a chip under a reciever. Who you are,where you are, what you spent and what you purchased. All could easily be put in a database. Do away with cash money and you bare all. Call me old fashioned if you like, but I still get a good old paper paycheck, use cash money. Hard to track cash which is why the push is on to do away with it. I don't lose sleep over who may be "watching" or hacking my bank account. I don't have [or need] one to hack. No spying, no hacking, no cards, no checks, no transaction fees, no interest fees. Aaaah. Peace of mind.

This "hack" is very similar to the the method used by the first guy to ron ATM users by recording signals coming from the ATM machine. He recorded the signals, put thenm on magnetic tape, and accessed accounts.

If the bar code has alot of dots within the confines of the bar code, that is a retinal scan pattern, and yes, one is already in the system.
CHIPS NOT REQUIRED for system to work. Facial scanning camera's in malls, and street lights keep and create a "bio-signature" which can be used for satellite tracking systems.

Remember, their next goal is to imbed chips in humans, starting with the babies, and next to older people who may get "lost" due to poor memories. Finally, all will need the chips in order to sell or trade anything. If we let this happen, the country is doomed.

Putting chips on licenses or formal IDs of PRISONERS who get out on probation/parole is a GOOD idea...putting chips on the green card/work visas of those aliens coming into this country to work/travel is a GOOD idea...but that's where it all ends for me. Now I refuse to live in a state where the embedded chip is required in the driver's license.
