Bush scrambles for North Korea breakthrough (AP)

AP - President George W. Bush scrambled allies Saturday to secure a North Korea disarmament deal before he leaves office, rushing hard for a late, legacy-shaping win. » Full Story on Yahoo! News

N.Korea nver has and never will comply or honor any agreement their not have 'the bomb'.They are just stringing the world(and mainly, the big stupid US)along to gain 'something for nothing' as much as they can. They did this all during the Korean war and haven't stopped since. Wake up!

Interesting article about "retreating into protectionism". Maybe Senator Shelby of Alabama should read this article since he appears to be "retreating into protectionism" for his State and protecting all of the foreign automotive companies that have taken up residence in his State.

I think right now America needs to protect her job's. Call it protectionism if you want. We cannot compete with countries that will do our work for a few cents an hour. When we don't have a job, we can't buy homes, cars, or anything else. America has the ability to sustain herself but we have sold her to third world nations at the price of the American people. I cannot believe our President is still pushing this free trade crap that is ruining our country. You knew when NAFTA was signed into effect this would happen. The only ones getting rich off this disater are the big companies getting cheap labor. Well, now we cannot afford their products and it all comes full circle. Enjoy your retirement while the average American drowns fat cats.

Bush "All nations should help put the Middle East back together after I screwed it up royally!

Bush, " All nations should help pull the US economy out of the nasty hole I dug us into!

Bush should have been tossed out on his ear long ago. Now we and the world have no choice but to painfully clean up after his utter chaos.

And, he is no done fkg with us yet.....with his Midnight laws. It is like he is saying fk you.

I am a protectionist if it comes to a country not taking our goods for there goods in a FAIR trade policy. Bill Clinton signed NAFTA and Free Trde Agreement with China that the Republican congress wanted so bad. Newt Gingrichs republican agenda was followed to a perfect plan by Clinton. Wake up america both parties are screwing us royally. I hope the computer you are typing on wasn't wal mart bought. I know it was china made no matter where it came from. And Obama is filling his cabinet with the same a******s Clinton had so america is again 4 more yrs of screwed. America needs change alright. The diaper around Washington DC is full.

I agree with michael. Bush brought the whole world down and now acts like he knows how to fix it. This loser has been just that since he was in the 1 st grade. How the people ever elected this inept piece of crap into office is beyond me. Everything he has been involved in went into bankrupsy. Daddy bought him his degree and kept him safe from war. He teamed up with the most corrupt clown in washington, namely cheney, who is a draft dodger and let cheney play puppeteer with him. Bush belongs in the pony league not the big league. LOser LOser.

And we should listen to him.....WHY???? 'Cause he's been sooooo successful up until now....NOT! The only success he has had is to send us hurtling downward into a depression. He truly is the right-hand of Satan.

North Korea is truly a screwed up country. They cannot be trusted honour any international agreement. North Korea maintains one of the largest standing armies in the world but suffers from mass famines on a regular basis. When the international community tries to feed their hungry children, North Korean officials take the food and give it to their army. They build illegal nukes while their people starve in poverty. How the hell can anyone negoatiate anything with incompotent and dishonest government like North Korea and call it "progress" is crazy.
