Budget deficit tops $1 trillion for first time (AP)

And things are getting better.......

And Obama and his merry band of tax cheats can't figure out that this kind of deficit will contribute to the prevention of an economic recovery. I guarentee when the Premier starts talking about deficit reduction, it will be on the basis of raising taxes. Obama is shaping up to be a disaster of unprecedented magnitude.

If anyone believes that Obama wants to pay down anything then I have a bridge and some land in Florida that they might be intersted in buying.

Inflation concerns are here just go to the super market or check the price of a pack of cigerrets or a gallon of gasoline. Want to see some real inflation how about some college costs.

Who in there right mind would lend to a shop/aholic well our government is just that on the highest level.

The sad thing is we can't do a damn thing about it. Our country is out of control. Spinning downhill and no stopping it. I just can't believe how blinded people are by Odumba and his merry band of thieves.

Hey... America spoke and said they wanted "change". However, they did not know, even though it was exposed left and right by Fox News and the Republicans, that it was not good change. But people didn't want Republicans anymore, so they all went for Democrats. Now, the President, Senate, and House are all Dems by a majority. And yet, here we are today with nothing resolved and it seems to keep getting worse... What we need is less government and more "PEOPLE POWER"!

Remember 7 months ago, when the deficit was a measly $987 Billion...

Those were the days...

All the libs screamed when Bush's deficit hit $400 billion one year. Well, Obama is $1.8 trillion in the red for this year alone. In 10 years, his unconstitutional socialist programs will add $10 trillion to the national debt. Maybe the Dems can explain to us how the country is supposed to pay for all of his out-of-control spending.

Those of us with brains can see where this is heading. Better brace yourself for a huge increase in taxes over the next few years! Congress is already talking about imposing a 25% VAT tax, a national sales tax on everything you buy.

Compare the Bush deficits to the Obama deficits. It'll make your blood pressure shot up!

Some people post how they don't think Obama knows that this is bad for recovery. Quite the opposite. He know exactly what its going to do to the economy/America. Why do you think he's doing it???? It is totally 100% on purpose. Any person who loves this country would not do such a thing to it. It's pretty clear what his intentions are: destroy the greatest country ever created. Very sad. He is on some type of control freak trip. Must make him feel more of a man or something.

What We need Is New Leadership in this country. We can't allow this to go on very much longer. This country is Broke, High unemployment, and it's no wonder our system is a wreck, most of our public sevants are crooked, We know this!!!
