When the damange was done before President Obama in office, it needs time to recovery. Why those Republicans don't understand that? Totally they are the Idiots!!! Companies have to cut jobs to survive. When President Bush in offce, how come he told Americans "we are not in recession, just slow down...". They knew the truth, but they didn't speak out the truth. We aren't the ones who need to slow down and wait....Nothing helped us the first time....That money should have went to every tax paying USA citizen and we could have jumped started the economy ourselves by buying cars, saving people from losing their houses, and keeping people in business. Its always easy for people who don't experience any hardships to be the ones to say: Just wait everything will be alright.

He and everyone else knew the stimulus that had to be passed immediately was a joke, late and filled with pork. BO will have his bad guy Hoyer lay the ground work, take the hit, later he will rethink the idea and presto, 2nd stimulus.
As the people of the United States I believe that it is important for us to be able to read the bills and laws that are being sudgested before they are passed. President Obama told us we would have a chance to read these bills. We the people are the country, we the people run the country. We choose who we believe to be the best possible leader of our country. I am hoping that Obama's rejection of this second stimulus is a sign that he realises that making debt money isn't the greatest way to go. Seeing as he is our president we do have the responsibilty to support him. This doesn't mean that we can sit back and ignore what is going on, we need to look into these bills and talk to our representatives. We put them there, but if they aren't doing what we put there to do, then we can and should pull them out.

Democratic presidents have consistently higher economic growth and consistently lower unemployment than Republican presidents. If you add in a time lag, you get the same result. If you eliminate the best and worst presidents, you get the same result. If you take a look at other economic indicators, you get the same result. There's just no way around it: Democratic administrations are better for the economy than Republican administrations.
He's playing America like a violin. After all the destructive things he's done and is doing, only the looniest of the liberals could still be convinced of him ever doing any good. His list of insanities is becoming too long to bring up at every post. Stop denying the truth and start voting better.

Lest we forget, ALL of this started back in 2000. When there wasn't a clear winner for the presidency, the stock market PLUNGED. Damn near a recession in a 2 month time span.
Now i BELIEVE that good ol' W. STOLE that election, but i have no new facts or evidence to support my theory, other than whats already out there. from 2000-2008, our economy lost a surplus, and almost went into depression. And who was on guard during those years, THE REPUBLICANS, led by dick cheney, and the biggest figure-head of a president in our history, good ol' W. i dont delve into all the ins and outs of who done what, when, where, or how, i just look at the obvious. and its gonna take Obama ALOT longer than a few months, to fix what he was handed when he took office. (oh, and a reminder to all those who forgot, THE FIRST STIMULUS, WHICH BAILED OUT WALLSTREET TO NO AVAIL, WAS THE REPUBLICANS IDEA. At least Obama's Stimulus was half way aimed at the REAL working class of America.)
as we all know, we havnt seen some improvements to the economy entirely, we have seen many factors that have been put into the problem such as government scams, jobs shipping over to seas, taxes going towards those shipped jobs and other unnecessary places, as well as what we could have done to save money. but this is only what the news presents us, there are also other things such as uneven distribution of food, inequality among race, poverty, women and the goal of coexistence that has yet to be reached. when one thing is out of balance, it can affect many other things as well. if we work together we can do anything and restore balance.
