They can simply solve this problem by deporting ALL illegals back to where they come from. This is the main problem facing not only California but many other states. It was also a disgrace that the state of California & the city of LA got saddled with all of the costs involved with the memorial for Micael Jackson. That wealthy family should have paid for it.
The state is bankrupt but welfare recipients and illegals continue to get a free ride. Duh.

What is there to talk about, Stop spending and get non citizens off of the tax rolls. No welfare, food stamps, medical help or anything else until they become U.S. citizens. The constitution says that Americans may be eligable for these services, not non-Americans. Surround all of those gangs and shoot them or send them back to their own country.
The state is cutting our pay by furloughs which only save the state about $470 million per furlough day. The state then turns around and is trying to increase spending another $213.5 billion. The big problem is that many who are furloughed have positions that have to be filled 24/7. For everyday that I take a furlough, someone else has to work my shift at time and a half. The furlough is costing the state 50% more than what they are supposed to save. The governor needs to take economics 101.

I have lived in California all my life, love the scenery, hate the politics. We did this to ourselves by creating all of the socialist programs that Obama is now trying to nationalize.

Regarding illegal immigrants, pass a federal law that requires at least one LEGAL US citizen as a parent for a child born in the US to be considered a US citizen. One of the biggest problems is pregnant mothers crossing the border to have children that are then American citizens and entitiled to benefits!
But the easy answer is the hard answer. Most, if not all, religions say they are here to help people. Fine, then let them help. Repeal their freedom from taxes! Tax all religions the same as you tax people and businesses. Think of all the property taxes and income taxes that would go into the state coffers to help everyone!
