wikipedia says there are 138 million taxpayers. 11.5 trillion divided by 138 million is 83,333 per taxpayer. that means, for a family 166,000 is owed. we are headed to a debt climax, and the only way to get out is by massive inflation.

These Socialist policies have been tried over and over only ending up with societies like Britian, Canada and France. While these are nice tourist destinations, I do not want to live there.

Here's how this plays out. The government spends money it doesn't have, so where does all that money come from? Two sources, they borrow and they print more. Printing more makes the money already in the economy worth less. We call that inflation.

It's a perfect scheme. Inflation serves as a hidden tax. You don't see it as a tax, just the government gets more revenue to spend and everything you buy takes more of the newly devalued dollars. Heck, you might even get a token raise in devalued dollars, not enough to keep up mind you. And who will you blame? Those greedy corporations who keep raising prices.

Yep, it's a politician's dream.

May be next crisis? Hell it's a crisis already, those bozo's just don't pay attention or don't give a damn.

THis debt is getting ridiculous. Bush spent way yoo much money and now Obama will triple Bush debt. It is killing the economy. Obamanomics(i.e. spend money anywhere, does not matter) has proven to be a miserable failure. THe so-called stimulus has been his biggest miserable failure yet but the cap and trade and health care would bump it off the list.

As long as we allow countries like China, to run up Sixty Billion Dollars a month in trade surpluses against us and we don't have a FAIR trade policy, we'll never get out of debt. Our trade representatives are concerned aobut one thing and that is their own paychecks. We need to manufacture our own goods in the United States and put American made goods back in our stores. The military P/X is full of goods made in China, and Vietnam. It's time to clamp down on China. I'm tired of them running their mouth about the U.S. Dollar and then being the first in line to bash our currency and to export Chinese junk to our markets. President Obama needs to review our trade policies. We can no longer afford to support the entire world.

The effects of their credit card reform are being felt as I speak. Already two credit cards have raised my rates for no reason at all. And all were paid on time, what caused this? The stupid democrats rushing laws through congress without thinking about how the companies affected would respond to the new laws. One card was used to finance materials for work I do. Lowe’s credit decided to raise my rates. Home depot gets all of my purchases now. Lord and Taylor, which I used to buy clothes and makeup for my wife for work. Macys gets all of her business now. I dumped the credit provider just for being scumbags. If your paying a credit card on time why should you get an increase in interest terms? First thing to do when they do this is tell them no. Close the account to purchases. That freezes the rate, and pay off the thief. This is for the scumbags at GE money bank Eat ME For 22.9%. Where I come from that interest rate is called loan sharking. well since we elected the current leader and his merry staff we are stuck with it for now i think we brought the act upon ourselves and now we will be payiing for it for years to come and being several trillion in the hole gee just think that started with the 1st war to pay off debts thats where it ann began and who know when it will end its real interesting that big business has failed banks closed and merged with larger ones and foreclosures and 1 in10 out of work in the us and states going broke. what we really needed is someone with actual business smarts and the savy to say no instead of spend spend and let someone else pay for it .. that kind of thinking got us to where we are today broke out of work and homeless and who do we have to blame best find a mirror and see whos at fault its a no brainer
