This is the same Republican guy that wanted a "moderate" Republican candidate, waited until just before the election to support a Democrat. The same COLON Powell who slammed the Republicans as being too conservative, slammed Rush for his stand on BO's (the man, not the dog) agenda, said we needed bigger government, now says the Army; thank goodness we didn't go to war with this guy as a commander. I we'd been attacked, he wouldn't be able to decide which pair of boots to put on for the battle. Yea, Yea, thank you for your service, blah blah, blah, like McCain, what have you done for me lately? Even Benedict Arnold was a great general and commander once, his choices later in life left him with the legacy he has today. Let it be so with COLON and Johnny.

As a career military type myself, I've always respected Powell but his statement today forces me to conclude that the man cannot be very bright. That is a personal disappointment.
