Fla. teen commits suicide with live Web audience

The 19-year-old Broward College student really did commit suicide by taking a drug overdose in front of a live Internet audience, ... » Full Story on USATODAY.com

I think it is a sad commentary when hundreds or more people log onto a web site to witness someone kill themselves or someone else. Get real folks, this is not tv where the person comes back to life next week same time, same station. And anybody who can just sit there and watch someone kill themselves without attempting to get ahold of authorities should be guilty of some sort of crime. Any idiot who wants to film themselves committing suicide or hurting someone/thing else is really and truly sick and needs the help that they are obviously desperately reaching out for.

This is really sad. May Adrian Biggs' 19 year old soul rest in peace. my condolences go out to all of his family. Those people online who encouraged him and egged him on to kill himself should rot in hell. That was a very bad, hurtful and wicked thing that you all did and encouraged that teen to do with himself just at the time as he was most vulnerable, weak and overwhelmed and was reaching out for help. Shame on you heartless bastards! :-(

Depression is a major mental illness that causes extreme pain and if left untreated, death. I am speaking from my own personal experience. I have been fortunate to have found the correct medication for me. Unfortuneately, find the correct medication can be a long, frustrating, and costly process. This young man was not as fortunate. It pains me a great deal to learn of his passing. My deepest sympathies go out to his family.

Unfortuneaty, depression is not the only mental illnes that exsist. This is evident in the fact that thousand of people found it entertaining to watch a fellow human being suffer for many hours, and eventually die. May God have mercy on their souls.
