Colin Powell worries Obama has taken on too much

Well he should have thought about this BEFORE he voted for, and endorsed, the socialist slug. I guess it is good that he is finding some sense even if it is far too late to do any good for the country.

Colin, we tried to tell you he was going to bankrupt the country. Your future is at home with your family. You aren't a Republican, you aren't a Democrat, and you aren't a libertarian. That makes you a nothing until you can look us in the face and say "I screwed up big time on this one."

The president has to cram everything he wants in now. He knows that in 2010,the people of this country are going to wake up and vote out the congressman that have allowed our county to get in the mess we are in.The billionns of dollars this president has spent and the billions more he is willing to spend has only put us into debt. When it is all said in done, each person in this county wiil owe $184,000 in order to balance the budget. And if the health package goes through, each of us who does not aquire health insurance will be fined $1,000.00, more for families. The president says the fines will bring in 10 billion dollars. That sounds to me like another tax. And on the 47 million poor and middle class that do not have health insurance as we are the ones who cannot afford it. And since when does our govenment set up to compete with private business?The 2010 elections are just around the corner. Call your congressmen and let them know you will be watching them and voting.

Mr. Powell, thank you for your honest assessment of the situation even though it goes against your boss. May we count on you as a voice of reason to continue your strong comments for sanity?

Powell is a douche. Who like 99% of all politicians will say whatever he thinks "fits for the moment". He of course voted for Obamarxist. Now he's voicing concerns about his performance and money hemorraging. Like the dumbass (Powell) didn't know what would happen if Obamarxist was elected. Anybody (including Powell himself) that thinks this guy would ever make a good President is a moron. Same as the millions that voted for Obamarxist.

You would think that Obama would at least ask Powell to be somewhere in his cabinet after all he's done for this country and after breaking party lines to endorse him!! Powell would actually make a better Pres than Obama would!!!

Marc he wasn't a congress man he was a senator and now PRESIDENT, the only one who is going to wake up "if GOD allows you to" in 2012 is you and the few others with your same mind set and see him as PRESIDENT again . Powell came to fame because of the brilliant campaign of General Schwartzkopf who led our forces against far larger enemy forces and totally destroyed them. Powell thinks he was a great general, but he has always had a free ride. Now he wants to be a great political pundit He probably thinks he is. Anyone who has watched his dance to the top, over far better men, knows better.

Can somone tell me why after we have known for years that the two parties we have are full of theifs and crooks, and yet you want to keep these people in office, and raise their status. Why? But I guess it's alright, You want to keep paying for it. Randy

Dangerously opossing the Constitution that this country has seen fit to operate under for over 200 years! We cannot modify or disregard it's values now. Both parties are full of crooks that don't really care for the people of the United States. It seems to me that these parties care more for the freedom of another country while ours is going down the toilet. Somebody is tapping our abundant resources and they are leaving us with the debt. We are becoming slaves of the debt and it isn't funny at all. And i sure wish that these TEA PARTY people would focus and kick the Federal Reserve people out, that is the biggest enemy of this country.

Powell = Traitor! He's lost the respect of all Republicans because he crossed party lines only to endorse a black man. Does he really think Obummer is listening to him?

At one time I would have actually voted for Colin Powell, but no more. Time and time again he has proven that he is actually clueless. Now he's just another ignorant pundit whose credibility has been lost and he no longer has any political clout with any party, especially the independents.

I voted for Obama, and I continue to support him. Powell is an intelligent person, one who was hailed by the Republicans for so long. But, Powell got sold out by his Republican buddy Bush....forced to sell that WMD BS about Iraq to Congress and the American people. Can u repubs really blame him for switching allegiances after he was sold out? Perhaps he just saw that the Obama team was a better choice than McSame/Palin. In the words of John McCain, "The country has spoken."

Powell is an administrative general, never was a combat general. His best work is in getting the paperwork done and correct. Politics is more of a combat event. Powell is inept at best in this field. As an administrator he would be very good. The problem with combat generals is that they don't care about the administration as much as reaching their goals. Combat generals make good campaigners but lousy administrators. Colin Powell should be in the Republican party as an administrator, not a potential candidate for office.

I think Powell has important ideas but I think he should talk to Obama not to the press, never the press. Isn't that why he didn't run for President he was afraid of the press tearing his wife's depression apart ? Anyway he didn't get along W and and now he's running his mouth. He needs a sit down with the CIC and impart some wisdom. Powell, stay away from the media they make you look bad.

Maybe it's time to flood the news channels blog sites and leave a message to Impeach this goverment. It works for them lets see if we can get them it to work for US. It is apparent that our teaparties have no effect so lets turn up the heat. Randy

I used to respect Colin Powell and at one point would have voted for him.... that was until I saw him crying for joy when Obama got elected. Now i feel sorry for him as the full weight of his mistake will come to bear on him. He does not see the world through color blind eyes. Because of his position he could have done much to STOP THE OBAMA MADNESS. Instead he drank the Kool-aid and betrayed his Country. He above all should have seen the Kenyan imposture we now have ruining our Nation. Like Judas he sold us out... not for 30 pieces of silver but for his vanity.
