This is "all hands on deck" time to get our country out of this mess. I sincerely hope they (Democrat or Republican politicians) all put their personal ambition aside and use the energy to do theright things improve our situation, both at home and our image abroad. Thank you Times for an insighful coverage.

I wouldn't want her anywhere near me if I was Barack. She can't be trusted to work for him only work for herself. She is an egomaniac just like her sort of husband. However, he's a smart guy so he must know what he is dong at least I pray so !!!!!

Keep you Friends Close but Keep your ENEMIES CLOSER. Another thought is to let her Fail and Ruin her 2012 chances once and for all. Obama is preparing to Unite All of the Leftists on Both Sides, in order to create a Socialist Nation as did FDR.
N.B. The local Militias formed big time under clinton, so be it under Obama. Ammunition and Guns are flying off the Shelves because of the belief that Obama will Highly Tax them in an effort to Disarm Americans.
A Disarmed America is a Defenseless America! God Bless America and P

I think Obama is very wise to choose Hillary as part of his team. This country is in a world of hurt, and I doubt there can be very much accomplished in the next few years that can pull us out of it. The last thing he wants is to be blamed for no "change"... so if Hillary is onboard, then at least her extremely vocal followers won't be criticizing him, because she'll be part of the process. I hope they have a plan - but I truly believe things here will be getting a LOT worse before they get better.

I think Obama is making GREAT choices for his team! He is picking the men and women who are very knowledgeable in politics and how to get things done. So what if many of them were on Clintons staff, the USA was doing much better under Clinton than any time in the last 8 with Bush. As someone said earlier, its all hands on deck time!

Team of rivals is what you want. Team of boneheads is what you get.

Before Hillary leaves for Foggy Bottom, I hope she tells Ted Kennedy where to put his offer to let her chair "one of 3 ad hoc committees" on health care. Buh Bye Ted. Hello Madame Secretary.
