And to think about worthwhile independent films that, for lack of money or 'big names,' never get the kind of publicity that this train wreck will score!

The waste of money in government and films today leaves me shocked! It's no wonder that this country is in the shape it's in.
No financial responsibility shown anywhere.

I saw this movie last night, and I feel like I was molested and forced to watch gay porn for 2 hours. This movie should be rated NC-17. Dead serious. It is f***ed up.

There is such a lack of clever and creative programming these days.
This sort of stench is what many of the Hollyweird crowd wants us to think is "entertainment." It's easy to make a movie like this. There's no work involved.

We should not make fun of mentally Ill actors, and please don't encourage them to make more films by going to the theater to watch their sick behavior.

LOL..you said it. Trying to be responsible and planning my excape prior to the Cap & Trade Bill, and the rationed healthcare. Need to re-locate my business where my 12-14 hour day work doesn't give Obama $ the opportunity to use my extra taxes towards his redistribution. Relocating, relocating....I only work for my benefit, no problem helping the homeless or military. No redistribution for the illigal's is going to come from my hard work.

That's a real nice run- on sentence there shoppy. But this subject matter is about a movie, not your whining.

The thing is, like any movie, there will be people that love it like almost everyone in the theatre that i was in. I thought it was a bit much. I really wasn't expecting a soft-porn movie. But i saw it, had some laughs and went home. I agree, shoulda been NC-17. If that's not strong explicit nudity like Wikipedia says, then i don't know what is.

I'm not gonna see it till it hits HBO. I enjoyed Borak, and know how this guy can push the envelope. There is always a need for that freedom, whether I am comfortable with the subject matter or not..

People - quit encouraging this deranged Cohen guy. Treat him like the POS he is, and don't waste your money on his movies. I'd rather toss my 8 bucks in the shredder than use it to watch one of his pathetic movies.

Funny. But be warned, it is a lot of raunchy sex, A LOT ... and I do agree it does ride to soft-core porn. It is like Borat male nude scene ... extendendedededed... But if you've seen Borat, and are looking for more shock... SC is trying to deliver: offend the American audience. And how funny it was for me to be offended. BTW, Ron Paul does an awesome job!

Bruno, the movie, and the character, doesn't even look funny. I've seen him on talk shows, and he is just silly and out of place, not inspiring one laugh, or even an uncomfortable grimace. Same goes for the TV ads. And at 88 minutes, who would waste their hard-earned $9.00, plus the price of popcorn and a water? Piss off Bruno.

Mr Cohen's comedy is rude and crude. He is not afraid to take on sensitive issues. His "take" on the human condition is often both irreverent and cynical.

I have not viewed Bruno and respond cautiously. As I understand the subject of the movie is his take on homophobia. Although a very sensitive topic, we may well need to be "jabbed" as Cohen often does. I am concerned many of the viewers of this film might use its' contents to further their homophobic reactions rather than take an honest look at the issues.
