Being from Nashville, and knowing the impact Steve made on this city, I am sadden by his loss. He was a hero on the field, and whatever his personal life was, his wife was obviously aware of. This is thier business, not ours. It is a horrible tragic ending for two people who had their whole lives ahead of them. RIP Steve McNair. This Tennessee Titan fan will miss you, and always think of you while I sit in L.P. Field and cheer on my team.

OK, Im reading some of these posts and shaking my head in disbelief that some of you people are so heartless when it comes to someone being brutally murdered. The fact of the matter is, NO ONE KNOWS what happened to McNair and his girl but them and God, so let them rest peacefully. None of you EVER stop to think, 'What if it was ME'. I've been reading a lot of comments like "he didn't deserve this" or "no one deserves to go out like that". I disagree. There are things you just don't do - mess around with another woman, or another man's woman, take drugs, run with losers, act like an ass, etc. You're just asking for trouble. Don't set yourself up to be a victim. American society has become one of "anything goes as long as I don't get caught and when I do I'll deny deny deny". I'm not perfect and no on here is but try to live a good life and be faithful to yourself and your kin and you should end up OK. If McNair was just happy enough to go home every night to his wife and kids and spend his millions, he'd probably be alive today. Now, instead of being known as "former Tennessee Titan great" he'll be known as "the QB who got whacked by his nutcase girlfriend". His kids probably idolized him, what a disgrace.
